Holy crap! I didn’t realize that the event is in Charlottesville!! I’m in Richmond so that’s only an hour away from me!! Is it really Sunday at The Paramount at 3:00pm? I have no pole friends in Richmond (everyone I know is too chicken). IS ANYONE MEETING UP BEFORE THE SHOW? I’D LOVE TO MEET AND SIT WITH THE GIRLS FROM SV!

YAY KAROL! She just seemed to float on the pole! Karol really rocked the pole! Everything she did was so controlled! YAY! All the girls did such a beautiful job! And Jenyne Butterfly was an awesome guest dancer! BTW, there was a standing ovation at the end of the show! This was the first show I’d been to and it was so great I’m still psyched!

Unfortunately, where I was sitting (up front) they were VERY strict about filming and/or taking pictures. I was very dissapointed that I couldn’t break out my little HD camcorder which I had charged up and ready to go. The ushers were watching us like hawks. Maybe someone somewhere in the theater was able to sneak thier filming, but not that I could see.
Jenyne’s performance was utterly mindblowing. If any of you ever get a chance to see her, do yourself a favor and go. I’ve seen lots and lots of videos and performances and the quality of her dancing was untouchable. There is little wonder why she is #2 in the world. She is out of this world.

i was fortunate enough to see jenyne perform at the uspdf national championships earlier this year… and she is just so graceful and lithe, it’s amazing when you realize how tiny she is, because she seems so big on stage. i’m looking forward to the next national championships in march (taking place less than 10 blocks from my apartment!) especially now that they have amateur and pro divisions.
i wish i could have seen her at the east coast regionals. with the close-knit community that has sprung up aroudn pole dancing, it’s amazing how quickly it is moving towards true acrobatics… new super advanced tricks seem to debut at every major pole event… it’s really exciting how quickly the sport and athleticism are progressing!

I would have LOVED to tho my goodness!!!But yea i was SOOO freakin happy when they called her name i fkin JUMPED up out of my chair and started screaming and like my eyes watered and like every time i talk about it my eyes water and i wanna cry; LOL i was just that freakin happy ..
and it made me even more happy cuz the girls behind us were SOOO loud and like…. theres our group screamin for karol.. and karol wins and its liek BAM!!!! MWAHAHAHAHA!!!

and may i add that I freaking admire alethea to no freaking end.. shes sooo beautiful and in a freakin sweater no less.. i wanna be able to look that fking hot in a sweater T_T

yeah, I was at the very back of the "VIP" section and the ushers there were all over the girls next to me about them possibly recording. I think one poor girl was just checking her facebook inbetween dancers but the usher was eyeballing her pretty hard!

The issue with the DVD is music rights.. thats why it hasnt been put out for sale.. =(
There was talk of doing a live webcast possibly in the future.
