USPDF….What to wear!!
Posted by Veena on April 21, 2011 at 4:53 pmI have to say I am beyond excited to see these amazing ladies dance LIVE!! I wanna know, what is the appropriate dress for the Pro and Amature Competition? Do I get to dress up or is it jeans and tees?? Do we dress more formal for the pro comp?https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

Veena- I was wondering the same thing!
I'm only able to go to the Pro Competition (can't take the whole day off from work), and I originally thought jeans and a tee would be fine. But then I figued if we go to the after-party, jeans and tees are probably not appropriate.
I've never been to a pole comp before, so I am just about clueless, but at this moment, I'm planning to wear jeans, heels, and a nice top. This all depends on this thread though and if others have better suggestions, I might change my outfit idea 🙂
Oh, and check the weather!!! Currently it's a high of 65 and low of 51 with rain.
BTW, I am SOOOO excited to meet fellow Veeners! I have only been poling since January and am consistently pleased with the comaraderie of the community. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

Last year it was anything goes. I went to the am, the pro, and the after-party. I think I wore jeans with flats to the am and then went to the car and changed into heels for the pro and afterparty. People were in jean, sweats, dresses, miniskirts…a little bit of everything. I'm traveling up from MD on a bus, so I'll only have a little bag of clothes for the weekend. I'm gonna keep it simple and go middle of the road with what I wear AND keep it as comfortable as possible. I'm 40 and married and I'm not out to impress anyone plus I'll be walking around in between competitions. Last year, I walked up to central park and by the end of the night my feet were killing me!
