seeing Shona's comment on Nikita's post made me realise we need to kickstart this discussion and planning again ladies!
Where is everyone at for asking for studio space on either 20/21 or 27/28th April??? Maybe we should lock down Shona's studio (with the 4 spinny poles) and then we can change if possible, but at least then we have a definite option…..

Polecat, it won’t be down south it will be up north that we are planning in this thread -my studio is Burnley.

We could always split it so those who find it easier can to go south have a seperate jam to those up north? If the numbers are okay anywho. Someone should make a studio slap bang in the middle of the country lol

Haha agreed 🙂 I’m going to keep looking at this forum coz I would still loved to go but will pass if it is just spinny poles….. Unless how high are the ceilings? I have a 50mm xpert but if you can put poles up I could bring my stage? x

Lizzie, you cant put poles up that go on ceiling as its a floating ceiling so needs extra support where those poles go, but, it is a MASSIVE space so there would defo be room for a stage pole. The studio has 4 spinning top loading xpoles ( lost the screws for all of them so no option anymore) there is a lot of space that can be used for stretching/ floorwork etc and plenty of mats. Not sure ho high the ceilings are x
So are we back looking at Burnley then? And maybe arrange another jam for later in the year at the other studio once the owner comes back off matt leave? If so Saturday 20th or 27th April are good for me, will of course have to re-check dates at studio.
If you are up for spinning poles, possibility of a stage if Lizzie can come, in Burnley on either 20th or 27th April say yes and I will check dates on Monday x

YES YES YES!! 😀 Thanks shona! guys we can always have another one at a later date with static poles in another studio….. better to have two than none at all! Shona either of those saturdays works for me 😀

YAAAY! Sounds great Shona 😀 I'm definitely still up for it, will possibly be bringing 1 or 2 friends.
I can bring screws for an x-pole if people want static, I'll just have to remember to take them back home with me again!

Yep yep I should be good for either of those dates! Btw if people are having issues with the spinning poles, the local studio here is available too – if I remember correctly there's 11 poles that operate on both static and spinning, 2 of which are 45mm's (rest are 50's) and there's a hoop, silks and a trapeze in a separate studio. The owner is super lovely and easy going so this could be used for the 3rd uk pole jam 😉

I think that’s the one zoey was asking but the owner is still on maternity, well I’m still up for coming ill being my stage! And if someone can bring screws but no biggy if not ill just take it easy on the spin 🙂 maybe you guys could help me with it coz I’ve only ever tried it at home x

20th works for me! You're right Lizzie – having others around will make spinny alot easier and I am sure you will be fine!!!!!!!! I'm excited about the stage too!

Sorry I am late joining this guys, but Amiloo I have had a look at your studio and it looks amazing!! If you are planning to have a jam there I would maybe be able to come if it was in April as it'll be the Easter holidays, so I'll be back at home down south (Kent) 🙂 So I'll be keeping an eye on this thread!

I vote that since your studio is the first studio to confirm Raven and mine only has spinny poles we shall go to yours!! I, of course, am in 🙂
