Any more news on this? I think a couple of people from my studio would be interested in coming too

I've been so busy that I forgot all about this! Ladies it has to happen!!!! I know we originally ruled out Shona's studio because there's only 4 poles… but maybe we could use it and have it open for longer? Like 3 or 4 hours even? THen it's a nice relaxed day, we can all bring lucozade and munchies, and take turns chilling/poling/etc. I'm sure we'd all be willing to pay a bit more for a longer session. It'd be nice to get this nailed down and I think that was the closest we got to a definite YES from a studio….

The studio wasnt ruled out because it had four poles it was ruled out because they were all spinning.

I agree with peach think 4 poles aren’t a problem but I can’t do spinny, ill ask my studio also, its quite small with 5 static poles x

If there's room for another pole there Lizzie then I could bring my X-pert and we can have a spinning 45mm option too? Trying to figure out how we can have the best of both worlds!

Honestly didn’t appreciate how good my local pole facilities are until reading this.

OK wow lol, I can sacrifice spinning for the chance to play on taller poles! I'm 5ft 8 and I only get 2 climbs out of the ones at my studio and 1.5 at home 🙁
Just to mention, I would ask my studio but it's a full time dance studio so they have kids lessons all day Saturday and I think Sunday too.

Hello, bit late joining this, but I'm another that can't cope with spinny only.  I'm also a bit disorganised and April is a busy month, but I'll figure out if I can make it closer to the time.  Now I'll be getting the notifications from this thread at least 🙂

I know its prob too far for everyone but my studio in Dorking has THIRTEEN (yes 13) 4 meter poles (yes (13ft!) Im pretty sure hiring it for a few hours would be no problem as its allready got a £5 gowhenever you like policy.

    Heres the link: http://www.thepolestudio.co.uk/dorking.html

But obviously I get that its pretty far, I travel 30mins to get there because the closer studio they have just opened just doesnt live up to it!!

Anyway thought I would put it on the table =) xx

Amiloo, thank you for offering, I have just checked out your studio and it looks ANAZING! I am jealous! However, Dorking is too far for me to come, 5 hours :-/ it might be worth splitting the thread to suggest a Southern jam though? Is anyone else from down your way? Xx

I'm with Raven, it's a pole goal of mine to visit Taylors Retreat! You're so lucky to have it as your home studio Amiloo 😀 it's gorgeous.

Sorry to hijack this topic but any northern veeners fancy a 4 hr tailored stretch and contortion workshop? Sat 2nd march (if date is still available) £60. It’s with the stretch lady from British pole dance academy in stoke, she’s super bendy! Message me asap pls I want to see how many are interested x
