The MEN of pole in Columbus Ohio!!!!

I wanted to share that there is some talk of having a Pole Party on Sunday night! If this does come to pass, there will not be very much performance by the three of us gents, but any hijacking of the pole done by patrons is highly encouraged, and some food is going to be served. It could be a Veener’s paradise! As soon as I learn anything more I’ll be posting it here!
I won’t be any competition for anyone on Sunday, because I will be in too much pain. LOL

Woot woot! I’m extra excited to be around so much pole love only a few weeks after Polecon. I’ll be there on Friday night or Saturday during the day. Thankfully, my grandmother lives in Gahanna and my son and I will crash with her. Even though I had to lie to her when I said friends of mine are performing at a gig in Columbus, and she went on about my friends being in a band. I didn’t correct her-she would not understand. Anywho, I have to drop my son off at summer camp in Bellville, Ohio that Monday so I was headed that way anyway. Not sure about sticking around on Sunday since it’s the holiday and all. Plus we had planned on visiting more friends/family in the Cleveland area seeing how we will be so close. And I’m going out of town on the 20th because of a wedding so I can’t make a pole party on Sunday either. Well this is lame! I want so badly to be there! Englann I am really sad to hear that you won’t get to come. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif I was hoping to meet you. But this won’t be our last chance by any means. There is a good chance that another event will occur in August, but not sure so I’m still keeping my fingers crossed about it…! Maybe with more advance notice, more Veeners can stop by.

I’m afraid we cannot do this. Jim was very generously trying to work out his schedule to get us there but I’ve realized we are too swamped right now to consider another weekend away. Plus I forgot it’s my nephews graduation party that Saturday so we need to attend that.
Too bad….this would have been a blast! Get lots of pictures!

There are a few of us here in Cleveland. I am on the east side, Mommabear is on the west side (near Parma) and JLynn is in Akron. Plus Roxy is an owner of a studio….she does not post much but I know she reads the forums.
I am going to be at the performance Friday night, Jessie is supposed to be coming with me and possibly Roxy too.

What a small world! I’ve messaged mamabear a few times about my jacked up X-Pole and I never knew she was in Ohio. Wow! I would love to be there on Friday, but my son will not be done with school until 3:15 and then we have a 7 or so hour drive. Although…it will technically be his last day of school so he can skip out early. If the guys are going to be doing something on Friday night, then I may not want to miss out. Hmmm…. I’m going to have to think about that. Either way, I’m there for sure on Saturday. Are they having any workshops or jams at your friend’s studio?

I really do not know what is going on in Columbus that weekend (or are you talking Cleveland?). All I know for sure is the men’s performance on Friday night.

Ohhhhh!!! I wish I would have known about this sooner! I have to work next weekend, but Ohio is not that far from me. I remember Josiah had mentioned a performance he was planning to do out this way, but I never realized it was going to be so soon! It sounds like it is going to be so much fun! I would have loved the chance to meet Stellarmotion in person and see JC again. Oh my gosh, you all have so much fun and please, someone get videos of the performances and post lots of pictures! This is going to be a ground breaking event, I am sure!!

Oooo Oooo guess what everyone?? Apparently we’re not leaving for Colorado until the 22nd! Sooooo that means I can come to the pole party that’s happening on Sunday for sure! Woohoo! So, do we have a time set up for that? I have to drive an hour and a half so I have to plan a bit. Hooray! For those staying in town there’s tons to do and I’ve been looking for some fun street poling spots. For more info you can PM about things to do for the weekend….there’s plenty!

Hey folks! I have corresponded with the proprietor hosting us and have found out that the Sunday Pole Party (attn. Englann https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif ) is going to be starting at 5 PM at Score Bar and is going to include complimentary burgers and hot dogs! Part of this party is going to include a contest judged by Myself, Jungle, and Badazz! This is going to go on until 9 PM, and following that there will be other performers (strippers) until 11ish and most likely at least one performance each by myself, JC, and Badazz. At 11 there will be five winners announced and over five hundred dollars in prizes are going to be given away! Entry to the competition is ten dollars, but entering the competition is not mandatory for attendance! If you are not a super-advanced pole dancer, don’t despair; extended aerial combos are NOT the only criteria we will be awarding for! You do not have to do advanced aerial tricks to receive a prize, although you’re more than welcome to!
Also if any of you who will be in town this weekend are interested in having pole play or instruction during the daytime, please send me an e-mail through my profile on this site and I will share some more information with you.
