The MEN of pole in Columbus Ohio!!!!
I got word that Stellar, JC and BadAzz are supposed to be performing in Columbus this month!!!! I am going to try to call the bar today and find out all of the particulars (they do not open until much later).
I am super psyched for this and can’t believe that it is happening in OHIO!!!!!
OMG….I am sure that the performances will be a later thing, but my Ohio ladies….could you imagine jamming at Kickstand with these guys??!!

Just talked to the bar manager and he wanted to know how I already knew about this because he just found out the other night. I told him he had NO IDEA how big of names they are getting in and the fact that the 3 of them are going to be in one place!
From what I was told this afternoon (none of this is totally set in stone):
Friday night performance at Score Bar, probably 9-10ish. I was told no cover.
Saturday Columbus is a zoo so they will just have a DJ and possibly just pole play. No performance scheduled.
Possibly a performance Sunday night. This is not set in stone.
Just so everyone is aware, not that I think anyone has an issue, Score is a gay bar and the Columbus Pride Festival is this weekend. This is a HUGE event in Columbus.
I also had to ask how this came about. I guess the owner decided to put up a pole a few months back and then they decided that for the festival they were going to get male pole dancers. I don’t think the owner has a CLUE what he just booked or that his club is going to be over run by the pole community!

JC….I would LOVE to see you dance in person. Stellar too! I had the opportunity to see BA at the Pole Convention and he was phenomenal!
I can’t say for sure but I’m going to be working on him for this one!

I am so excited! I can’t wait to meet some of the fabulous pole community in Columbus and surrounding areas! As soon as I have any more information about the performances or other events of the weekend I’ll be sure to post it here and also on my Facebook page!

Angel, as soon as I find out what kind of cover charge they are thinking of applying I will post it on this thread. I have a feeling that it will be minimal, but I have to talk some more to the manager. My suspicion at the moment is that $10 would be the maximum.

If plans for a jam get finalized, I might be able to swing an overnighter or something if someone would be willing to put me up for the night. My broke recent college grad self definitely could not afford gas and accommodations for 1.

Okay, a note to share with you all…
I heard from the manager responsible for having hired us a little earlier that they decided to apply a 3 dollar cover charge on each Friday and Saturday. This may be the result of Veeners and other pole dancers expressing their enthusiasm for this show! There is an additional Sunday "Pole Party" that is being discussed right now and I still have to get in touch with JC and Badazz to see if they’re down for such a thing.
Jungle and I think that we might do some goofing around Friday and then pull out some really fun stuff on Saturday after we have had a chance to practice together! I’d be very excited if there was a chance of meeting up with Veeners for some street poling if possible.
My head is spinning really fast because I’m trying to coordinate between too many people at once. I feel like an event planner instead of a performer! Throw some calm vibes my way please.

Veena, you can’t imagine how meaningful it would be to have one of my mentors watch me perform, even if you didn’t know you were one of them.
