Taya Parker wants to help me!!!
So… This weekend Taya Parker was at the club that I work at preforming. Her and I got to know each other the first time she came to the club in Jan of last year. When she came in I ran up to her and gave her a big hug and after her set we got to talking about what had been going on. I told her that I had won two competitions last month and she asked why I wasn't featuring. I told her that I wasn't sure how to go about that to which she told me that I am her new pet! She is going to help get my name out there and find me an angency, even try to get me into a few magazines! She gave me her number, which she has never given to any dancer ever before in the 15 years she has been doing this… I am a lil overwhelmed by this but I am taking the steps that I need to get to where I need to be… I finally feel like I may have a real, job out of dancing in a strip club! I want to know if anyone here is a feature and if so where did you get started and how?

Sorry.. Or if you know any personally… I would love to talk to a few just to get a base of what I should go in there with if and when I have to sign on a dotted line!

Hey! Well not sure of what you are asking really, but I remeber her from rock of love and she is a great dancer. I know there is a feature school in florida that looks awesome, and I saw a dancer..Jennifer Steele (I think it was) when I worked at a club in shreveport, she went to the school and told me that was where she learned the most. I think it was.. anyway they teach you more than just dancing and routines, but about costumes and props. I think the school is like a week or two. You aren't too far away in Louisiana! If you ever want to come to Houston let me know! I need to make a New Orleans trip by the end of the year or early next year. I don't know why you say that feature dancing is a way out of the clubs though..just sayin..it will just mean you travel more to different clubs. In order for them to feature you though you have to have a recognized name/reason..Taya being on TV and in Penthouse. Your competition wins definitly help and can get you started closer to home.
