    So we are on holiday in Australia visiting my stepdaughter Emily. She has taken up the splits challenge for her middle splits, she can already do both legs front. So after lots of stretching here is my first recorded attempt at front splits. BTW Em is 13 and dances so I don’t think I did too badly.

    Good job!!!!! You may already do this but- I like to put yoga blocks under each hand at the sides of my hips to help keep my body upright . It takes a lot of strain off my upper body and distributes the weight evenly so you don’t put too much pressure on that front hamstring . As you get lower and are able to stay upright using your own muscles you won’t need the blocks anymore. This looks very good. You should definitely be proud!
