  So You Think You Can Dance

  So I didn’t realize that tonight was the premier of So You Think You Can Dance. I have to say, this is one of my favorite shows. Are there any other crazy fans? I’m excited to be pole dancing during this seasons show. I hope we can find some new and exciting things to incorporate into our own dancing. I’d like to hear from others as the season goes on. Opinions, ideas & anything else that comes to mind.   I didn’t realize it was starting tonight… I was hooked to it last year. So you Think you can Dance Canada was phenomenal too.

  I watch all dance shows pretty much…you’ll even see some so you think you can dance contestants on other shows like Dancing with the Stars and Americas Best Dance Crew.

  Oh did you guys see how the new Choreographer was getting all orgasmic over the good dancers? LOL

  I was cracking up watching her because that’s how I feel sometimes when I see good dancing, it gives me chills. her "In the Garden" routine from last year was one of those dances…if you missed it you should youtube it!

  I love my DVR. Rewind, pause, slow motion…………. I can’t live without it!!!

  I’m finding it really hard to wait though. I am not a professional, but I thought she danced beautifully. When she was cut last year I was really sad & I can’t believe it happened again!!!!

  Welll…..I DVR’d it and hadn’t watched the show yet but…..now that I know she was cut I’m pissed too!
  She’s the bomb! I thought they should have chose her last year.

  I didn’t get to watch lastnight so now I need to watch last nights show tonight and then tonights show lol. Exciting!

  I can’t wait til tonight, either! I loved Natalie, too, and was so sad when she got the boot. She really is a beautiful dancer with awesome technique. But they were right in a way: it’s a competition show and EVERYTHING is being watched and during her group’s audition, she was kinda of "flat". When she was demonstrating, she really hit it and performed brilliantly. Maybe it was the energy of the choreographer because it was soooo obvious that she LOVED Natalie, which maybe gave Natalie more confidence? I was also sad to see the Japanese guy get let go. That guy has a ton of heart. And those brothers?! Aren’t they the greatest? The older one is such a talented choreographer. I hope they recognize that. They’re so cute. It also looks like the older of the blonde sisters is close to the chopping block. I think she’s incredible but she couldn’t get the choreography. In her defense, though, I took some classes with Mia in NY a million years ago (way before she was well known) and her stuff is HARD! It’s super expressive and at that point, totally unique. I remember not being able to count it out at all, and being lost every single time we turned, which was every other second. Oh, I’m so glad to be able to talk about this to you guys–my husband despises the show but he’s out of town this week!

  OMG! You took classes with Mia? You are so lucky to be able to say that LOL, I think she’s amazing. Her dances always make me feel warm and fuzzy inside. She’s the bomb.

  Her stuff does look hard though, I can’t imagine trying to do her choreography but I love watching others do it LOL

  So excited to have a new season starting, I like those brothers…can’t remember their names, but they are good, I can totally see the older one in the top 20.
