Skype for AcroYoga/Doubles Pole??
Hi Veeners!
Some of you may know that I love doubles 🙂 My original doubles partner and I have performed at a local showcase – Verticalove’s Canadian Pole Dance and Artistry Showcase – for the past two years since it started, and we have also taught one doubles workshop. Ambersky and I recently led a doubles pole instagram challenge for the month of August, and I’m also working on an exciting new routine with another friend that we hope to perform at a showcase in the States next year (maybe Michigan?).
Anyways, most of the doubles that I’ve done is self-taught. I’ve taken a doubles workshop and I’ve also gotten some personal instruction during some private lessons with various instructors. I’m really interested to work more on the floor work/acroyoga aspect… and you can learn so much just from seeing other people’s techniques etc. Money is kind of tight right now, and my doubles partner recently bought her first house, so it means that private lessons are kind of out of the question for us right now, and there just aren’t that many workshops offered in our area.
So I was wondering if there might be anyone on StudioVeena that might be interested in doing Skype jams? Or perhaps if there is anyone who is really good at acroyoga and wants some pointers for doubles on the pole, we could kind of trade off some instruction via Skype? Win-win for everyone!
