Crap I made a response, but hit save instead of submit so I hit back button and deleted everything. I have several tattoos. I will start from the bottom and go up. Flowers on foot, heart on ankle, smokin cherries on front of each hip, pin up girl on a cross on my rib cage, angel and baby on left forearm, skeleton and baby on right forearm, and my favorite is my full backpiece. The whole outline is done it just needs coloring in 2 spots. It is Candyland. It was a favorite game of mine and my sister’s when we were growing up moving around military bases. My son loves to play it on my back. I don’t remember how to post pics in a forum, but you can see some in my profile. I was going to upload them today when I get home!

PS I can’t see yours. They show little red "x’s"

ohmygosh your cupcakes are too cute!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

ugh….I haaaaate my tats, I have two that are in the process of being removed. Cherries on my right front hip, and if a butterfly could be ugly, I’ve got it on my left lower back. I’ve had like 8 laser treatments (omg so painful https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif ) and they are really faded, you can see them a little in my last video. I have my doubts as to the lasers completley removing them though, I’m going to do a few a more treatments and if they don’t fade completley I’m going to get new pretty tattoos over them…..which is kinda what I want to do anyway, we’ll see! I love body art, the ones I chose at 18 were just so dumb and lame. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_tongue.gif

I have just one, but it was a 2-part process. I’m very proud of it because I designed it myself, and other than the crappy job they did on part 2, I don’t regret it. I made sure to put it somewhere that can be covered up and that probably won’t show much when I’m old. I see residents at the nursing home I work at with tattoos, and you can’t even recognize what they are anymore… I’m also Christian, and it’s a cross, soooooo….. yeah.

I got the cross itself first; was kinda trying to incorporate a crown of thorns kinda look without actually drawing thorns – the result was a gothic-looking cross that kinda looked like it has tips like holly leaves… A couple years later I felt it needed something more and had the swirl and some diamonds added around it. I wanted the diamonds to look more like sparkles, and look much more symetric around the cross, but the guy insisted on drawing them onto my leg instead of doing a transfer and also said he couldn’t make them any smaller because of his outlining needle… I went somewhere else to have it touched up where they told me I should’ve walked away and those guys were full of bullsh*t. It looked better than it did, just a lot more loud than I was going for.

Anyway here are the pics of the before and after. It’s (obviously) on my right ankle, about 3.5 inches long…

this second one was taken just after I got the addition done, it looks much more even after I had touch-ups.

Love seeing everyone’s ink! I only have one, a fairy on my hip. She’s special to me! Want to get another but can’t decide what I want.

I have a simple vine and 3 flowers up my left side. I also drew this myself, so please don’t copy it! Its to symbolise my 3 years at university where I became the person I am now. Before I went away to uni I was so shy, and i blossomed (hence the 3 flowers) into a confident person. For some reason it won’t let me upload it to here so i’ve put it on my pictures! I also have a tribal butterfly on my lower back but it doesn’t really mean anything!
I love the fact that everyones tats are so sentimental! x

Oh my gosh I love all your tattoos!!!

My mom and all three of my sisters have tattoos because we have a friend in France who is a tattoo artists. I’m the only one who isn’t inked and you guys are really making me want to get one!!!

Love the fairy, that is amazing! And Azzwoo, very cool that you designed it yourself. I love how everyone is really represented by their tattoos https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

I once saw a woman who had a tattoo on her shoulder blade and it was the color of light Hena, I think it would be nearly invisible if she was tan. I woud love something like that. Kind of like you Shelby, the white is very subtle.

Fleur you need to get one! I was actually shocked when I saw you responded to this…I thought "wait…she has a tattoo?" okay that sounds super mean…but i hope you get what i’m trying to say! you’re just so nice and proper and perfect you do not seem like a tattoo kind of lass. but you should definitely get one i think you’d wear it very well and it would look awesome when you were poling in your underoos.

and i love everyones tattoos as well, im glad i made this thread!

    Love all your tattoos!
I once thought that I was going to get almost all of my body tattooed, but for some reason I’ve only got one.

    Wouldn’t upload, so I’ll put a link in: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=71954&l=8f558a88b5&id=500364737

This is not a very good pic, but it’s the only one I’ve got. It is my fav actress from 20s silent movies, Louise Brooks, and it was done very unprofessionally, but I love it anyway. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

Wow I love all your tattoos ladies. I have always wanted one, but as you can see by my frequent hair changes I can’t commit!! I ALSO I have no idea what I want https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif I do like piercing cuz I can take them out once I’m sick of them. LOL.

I love tattoos… I’m still in the process of designing mine. There is a lot of symbolic meaning in the entire piece, but he (my dragon) is only half done. I’m hoping to get him done/started in the next year or so. The hard part is trying to figure out where I want to put him. I’ll have to find the few pages of sketches I have… and figure out how to post them up later.

Wow I love all your tats!

I have to say I am especially blown away by drkfairy’s fairy – she is absolutely stunning! I don’t have any tattoo’s although I have thought about it and would probably have it on my side (ribs are apparently the most painful… i’ve heard… but it looks cool!) After seeing that fairy I’m a lil inspired…

Such pretty body art… GORGEOUS GIRLS!!!

To be honest, nikki_cristie, I wouldn’t worry about the pain, they’re actually not that bad! Women have a very high pain tolerance and though it varies person to person, it’s always worth it in the end : D My sister is 105 pounds and 5’2" and she’s gotten a 7 hour script tattoo on her ribcage and didn’t shed a single tear. If you really want a tattoo and you have thought about it for a while (I usually wait about 6 months and if I still really want that tattoo, I’ll get it) then it’s always worth the pain. : D

BTW if anyone is interested, I have designed a few of my friends’ tattoos as well as all my own (though they’re just symbols). My portfolio is http://www.taylorhuval.com if you wanna take a look : ]

Wow, I had a look and your artwork is beautiful, I’m really blown away! I especially love the painted portraits and the ink china looking ladies, and also the racoons were so cute!! I love drawing and am trying to learn to do good oil paintings so I love art especially drawings, ink and paintings and you are really good! Haha sorry, I’ll shut up, but seriously you are very good. If I was rich I would buy a painting from you!! When I have money and live in my own house I’ll come straight to you for artwork!

wow!!! everyones tattoos are so cool! i love how they all mean something so special to each of you. i really want to get a music note on the inside of my bottom lip, but i hear mixed reviews about that- some say it fades because of the spit and wetness of inside your motuh, and some say its permanent….

something very simple like this: http://content.provocraft.com/d/images/products/cuttlebug/product/large/37-1420.jpg

and then if there was room, MAYBE this mud flap pose: http://slog.thestranger.com/files/2008/07/SG001-mudflap-girl-01.jpg

but who knows, i might not ever get one lol! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

    Surprisingly, I have none.

Like Veena, I’d want to change it.
So far though, I’ve thought about a bat on my left breast, a protection pentagram on the tail bone (when I thought I needed it), the Biohazard symbol as arse antlers (Mr Rouge said no, long reasoning but he didn’t want it there https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif ) so maybe it’ll be the biohazard symbol on a shoulder blade.

The symbol speaks to me as humans are biohazard. Anarchic thought, but cool.

Tatts and piercings are very, very common in NZ, most people have tattoos and it’s not considered a "naughty" thing.

Piercings are my thing, ears only currently, but will re-do my navel at some point and love the corset.

Forgive the pictures, they’re all off centered but you get the general idea.

This is my "Hurray I’m in the Army now let’s go to some random tattoo shop and get some tats!" tattoo….I think it looks pretty crappy now but it’s symbolic of my life changing.

    http://i894.photobucket.com/albums/ac149/sissybuns/DSCF8542-1.jpg

Another Army tattoo but this time with some meaning. It means Eternal Friendship and myself and my two sisters all have it (different areas) because we were raised to take care of eachother and thats what we have done. We’re family, sisters, and best friends forever.
