Has anyone heard anything about this?

I am not familiar with the people who are listed as doing workshops… and there is no organizer info or background. I am just wondering if this is a legit event or something kind of less up-and-up…

I know the girl whose running it. Jessalynn Medairy of Pole Pressure She used to be an instructor @ Xpose. I love that girl, she inspired me alot!
She has a facebook profile for it. Ive been spreading the word for her! Sally Ann Giles is coming!

I just heard about it, like Minicooper said, the studios behind the convention are legit (pole pressure and chic physique). Chic was a sponsor at USPDF East Coast, too. Jessalynn Medairy is one of the competitors who made pro at the USPDF, so I dont think she would put her name on the line if it wasnt legit https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

I lived in DC for years, best friend is still in the area and is having her 2nd child in late Feb. I need an excuse to come to the area to see her, and darn if this doesn’t seem perfect!
I’ll meet you all at USPDF in March too, but it will be fun to be at the conference together too.

so after a few gliches, the convention is back on! I just saw it on FB today. Its now in May and will be held at the Gaylord National. Its on the Potomac river so not only are we going to have an explosion of pole, we will have awesome scenery as well.
This is also a hotel, so if anyone wanted we could book a room (or a bunch of rooms) together!

Im bumping this since tickets just went onsale. I am planning to go to this since its gonna be a no for USPDF (BOO! blame my husband). Im looking for roomates and all those goodies. Im so darn excited for this!

Yep, I havent booked anything yet. I figured alot of girls would be planning this after USPDF is over. Im about maybe an hour from DC, im coming from near BWI airport.
The hardest part is figuring out what workshop I want to take. I think I should tell my kids for mothers day mom wants a workshop w/a international pole dancer! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif

im gonna be bringing my cousin along hopefully if she gets her finances situated, she will be coming up from florida. i dont think we will be taking the workshops cause i havent been poling for too long and she is interested but hasnt started yet. but im thinking we will be booking our room in the next month but we will probably be staying a few blocks away cause neither of us can really afford 3 nights at the gaylord honestly. i also am coming from the BWI area lol, im at fort meade so im probably right around where you are. once i get some more info together on hotels in the area ill let you know what i find unless you want to stay at the gaylord to be right there, just let me know when it gets closer ok? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

I only live about 30-45 minutes away from DC. I’m so excited about this convention! I doubt that I’ll be able to stay overnight, so I too will have to pick and choose what to attend, but I’ll take whatever I can get! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

Ooh! This looks like it’s going to be exciting, and i think I have this weekend off from work… maybe I can make it an extended vacation and come down for a visit with everyone! I would love to meet you all in person!!!

Yep, I live right near the main gate to the base. By the time the convention comes, Ill have my car back on the road. (thank you uncle same for my very nice tax return)
My thought was to stay at the Hotel, avoid getting lost. Im not very good w/DC. But if you find anything in the area for less – keep us posted!
The one thing I like about this convention is that there are various ticket packages to suit everyoned budget. If I can sell off all my MK inventory, I should be able to go all out for this!

yea i understand getting lost in DC lol, ive been there a bunch of times and barely know my way around, thats why i was gonna look for hotels only a few blocks away so it will be easy walking distance. ill do some research tonight and post what i find in here for anyone interested https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif
