I also wanted to say thank you for all of your lessons and tutelage.  You have not only saved my back but also probably days (or months) of trying to figure out ONE move.  I was wondering you were planning to do a lesson on the pole prance (like a sitting walk) or spins coming up from a floor position.  I learned a couple of these in a German workshop but if they broke it down, I did not understand it 😉  I am also looking forward to your combos!!  There are many moves that just flow into one another and it always nice to see someone splicing them together.  When I try to figure it out, most often I miss something.  Some spin combos are really pretty but are done so quickly that I can't keep up.

Found the thread full of ideas and moves for new lessons! Can I add to it? I'd love to learn:

Variations on drops (jade/horizontal split, remi, crucifix into shoulder dismount V)

The quick transition from elbow grip aysha to split grip aysha (as seen with Oona and Alethea Austin) @ 0.55seconds http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U-kRaR8yfqg

    Marion Amber

Devil's Elbow grip spin and sit that Karol Helms and Dirdy Birdy do http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pXyQq1Aloss&feature=relmfu

Sorry if I'll be repeating something, but I don't think there is an Oona/Russian split in your lessons 🙂 And I'd also love a lesson on whatever this move is called:

Suggestion: Advanced gemini/scorpio switches. (Have seen this move referred to as 180 degrees.) This is a move that I have seen advanced people do where they do gemini/scorpio switches but then add "flip action" with their upper bodies. It looks like doing a gemini/scorpio switch but then also flipping your body around to the to other side of the pole real quickly first then then doing the leg switch. "Penny" has recented posted a few videos lately where I have seen this move. Thanks for asking for suggestions, Veena https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

Want to please correct my spelling error in my recent post about advanced gemini/scorpio swithces. I meant to write, "Penny" has recently posted videos doing this move.

Could not find a "delete"…..and that sentence reads so goofy in my first post.https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif

Also, could you mention in notes 'You should be able to complete (****) move before attempting this. And/or work on this lesson if you are not strong enough for this particular move'

Some times I have no desire to get a particular pole bruise so I'll forgo that lesson. Realizing I need to have that understanding and strength to do the move I want.

I want combos and grip lessons.

The lessons are supposed to be done in order. This way there is no question about what one should be able to do before which moves. There are many variations, which takes time to see which move that it sort of relates to, but I have found it becomes more obvious the more moves I learn. If there is a move I wanted to learn, I would go back through and count how many lessons away I was from learning it.

    Wear those bruises proudly!! We work hard for them (;

    Good luck!

JhennD, All lessons are place in the order in which you should work on them. So if you can't do the previous lesson then you should not move onto the next. There are a few exceptions, because not every move is suitable for everyone. Also in the descriptions, I'll sometimes give you links to exercises you could work. In the descriptions I'll sometime include what things you'll need to know (***) before moving onto this lesson. Sometimes I'll say it in the lesson as well. All grips are covered in the lessons, and there are close ups of them as well.

We are always working on new and exciting things. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

I was just wondering how often Veena puts out new lessons. There are some moves I cannot find good tutorials for on the internet (blogs or youtube). Is she still taking suggestions, because I want to saftely learn iguana mount and I can’t find ANYTHING on it. Prep exercises, proper placement of the pole, things to be careful of. Nope. Nothing :/

I have a lesson for that CapFeb.

    Pencil mount https://www.studioveena.com/lessons/view/4d4ffed8-d100-4206-ac8d-194a0ac37250

Again, please remember the lessons are in order to allow for proper progression. The AKA names for moves are always listed in the Discriptions.
