I’m still waiting for my "pending" ordered xpole to finally start fully practicing… So I haven’t signed up for Veena’s yet, because missing a pole.
I’m curently just bissy with streching and working on my strength. But I do have something what I would want to have in a lesson. There is this girl, Sophirecatzeye (I believe her nickname is something like that). She does contortion, and is very flexible in her back… I really use her as one of my "role models", but I don’t know how to prepare my body for backflexible trainings.
So… MY request would be an "everything you need to know for contortion" lesson (ore something).
especially when it comes to the proper warming up!!! now for the split i know, but I really have no idea how to warm up my back… ahahahahOOOOh… but I’m so so so so so exited to get the lessons! Thank you so much Veena for this beautiful site!
WHERE IS MY POOOOOLE??? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_bounce.gif -

I completely agreed with trophywife…I would LOVE to see some drops, falls, and tumbles https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

Everything is up and running….If your waiting for me to finish adding lessons, your gonna have to wait an awfully long time …..I will be continuously adding lessons, there is no end date or last lesson! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif I am the energizer bunny https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_albino.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_albino.gif I have so much planned my head wants to exploded just thinking about it. Suggestions for some new moves are just a TINY bit of what else I’ll be adding. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

Veena-
I have several pole dvds but none really cover a lot of transitions and "flow" very well. I’d love to see that! Esp for non- previous dancers.
Also I was wondering if you can see ALL the moves available or is there more when you sign up? Thanks. -
You can scroll though all the lessons but not watch them…I believe. I will be adding some routines and tips for flow ect…and MUCH more.
-
yep combinations i go blank too and would love some of your combinations veena.

Hi Veena!
Keep up the awesome work! I would like to see lessons on :
The Genie
The yogini
The marley
and the twisted ballerina
Thanx! you rock! -
air invert
not sure if it has been posted here or not. not sure if it is in the training vids already.
explaination: climb pole, pole sit, hold on with strong arm at arm pit, then put legs somewhat down but not all the way as you put your body in front of pole, swing legs, knees bent and invert into v and then legs come above and wrap around pole, leaving you upside down.
Another suggestion is somehow an easier way to find what you are looking for in the training videos. example: beginner, sub catagory of spins, inverts etc.
strentgh, sub catagory of shoulders, hand, stomach, etc.
flexabitly, sub catagory of splits etc.
intermediate, sub catagory of spins, inverts etc.
advanced, sub catagory of …etc.somehow a place to look up move names…something like wikipole. I know you can go to the search page, but then it shows everything (forum related).
-
Yes the air invert is on my list.
we are going to be changing many things on the site including how we categorize lessons, but it all takes time. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

This is more a web-master question …
It would be great if the list of videos below the video showing would "hold" its place, so I don’t have to scroll thru ALL the videos (at each level) each time. The lessons are getting better and better, and let me say it again, I LOVE the new format!!!
I’d never even tried an Aysha, but I got the reverse one in your lesson on the first try.
(Still trying to find that vid where you flip into the Superman from V, I think you move the upper hand to outside the leg, then continue to flip over, been trying to work out the logistics rolling on the floor, LOL) -
I would love to have a lesson in the future on The VEENA https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_queen.gif tumble down the pole into reverse shouldermount move that you do on some of your vids. It is wow move that I would like to learn https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif
-
I’ll add these to the list. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_salut.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_salut.gif

There hasn’t been much activity in the way of lessons the last while……..
What you guys cookin up??????There was new stuff and new versions of older ones…….lots~then nothing~~
So……you must be busy cookin something up in the background…….hmmm????
You gonna keep it secret until it is ready? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gifCrazy pole addicts want to know…… https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif
huge smoochies!!!
reenie -
Hello…..I am a beginner. And as I have started going through the beginner lessons, I find that you state some are more advanced moves. Would it be possible to make a video letting beginners know what moves and hold they need to get down before moving on. That would be such a help for me… https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif
-
lildebbie, Master the lessons in the order they appear….the farther along the video scroller you go the more advance the moves in each section. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_sunny.gif
And yes reenie, I have been very busy. Big things happening with the site, (mostly behind the scenes at the moment) 4 kids and 2 starting school all while searching for a home!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_eek.gif I have almost completed the new revised intermediate moves along with some brand new moves. Intermediate routine will come out in October sometime.

I really cannot do a sit up on the pole from a hand/elbow stand. I try and I try, and I know it’s just a reverse CAR, but….a lesson would probably help me! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif
-
Not exactly a pole move as such, but could we have a lesson giving tips on flexibility exercises, eg how often, how long to hold the stretch or whatever it is we should be doing please? It’s just that I’ve been working on strengthening, but it seems to be having the opposite effect on my flexibility https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif
Thanks for everything so far https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif
