    Woohoo!! Thanks so much Veena!!

I am voting for the low lift spin(spin up) and variations~
Seems it has been a topic more than once in the last bit~~

I would also love to see combo tutorials~~

Half the time, I get inverted, get into one move or another and then draw a complete blank on what to do with it from there~~

    Huge hugs
    reenie

Veena, what do you mean 3 old lessons to replace? I’m hoping to begin your online lessons in a month or so, will there be a change in what’s available? Thanks!

Veena has just simply been re-recording some of the older lessons.
The new ones are way better cuz of the quality of video stream…….
Otherwise, they are pretty much the same lesson……just way better quality!!

Am I correct in this veena??

I agree with all that has been said above (Rockstar Spin, Allegra, etc) def transitions and floorwork..those lastest ones are da bomb but also, PoleLushes has a move in wikipole that I can’t figure how to get into it is the Rockstar (not spin, just a move/hold) and Marley…wow, we are gonna keep you busy https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

Here are a few you could do:

    Roxy Spin
    Raverse Alegra
    Twisted Grip Handspring
Flag Invert (flag to brass monkey)
    Shouldermount body wave
    Raverse Caterpiller climb
    Genie
    No hands craddle spin

One thing I’d like to see is the body spiral, also known as corkscrew or lollipop spin with a couple of variations. Elizabeth showed it to me and I got it, but now I don’t got it (curse you, move stealer!) https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_evil.gif , so an instructional vid I could go back to would be really helpful. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_geek.gif Thanks!
Oh, I also vote for rockstar spin!

How about teaching the girls some combo spins. Fireman to attitude, front spin to back spin, the choices are endless, right up to advanced with helicopter spin to gemini or helicopter to basic butterfly, and all the different chair spins. Reverse grab to side plank. For those who are a bit timid about inversions, hours of fun can be had by mastering combo spins.

Yes, yes combo spins. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_thumleft.gif I had some… and they will be replaced again… at some point. Remember, I have other lessons planned in addition to pole moves and spins so be patient, but keep the thoughts coming https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

Ahh im excited! It’s hard to think of moves on the spot, how about flatline scorpio? Also i’d be really interested in combos, like moving in and out of different moves. Can’t wait to see the new lessons https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

Thanks Veena! I love your lessons. Even if I know how to do them.. I still watch the daily ones to revise and hopefully perfect each trick. What about spinning pole lessons?? I’d love to see how to perform on spinning with ease.

The Holly drop and the Superman drop! And your drop through flag that’s similar to the one Jenyne does. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

And butterfly to inside leg hang https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

    I’m so excited!

I would also like to see the pretzel spin, low lift spin and the rockstar. I’ve struggled with rockstar for a while, and now I barely remember what it looks like.

I would also like to learn viva seat, scissors, and hello boys — all three are holds.

I am not sure about Viva but I can explain the others.

I know Hello boys as a move similar to the wrist V but with both your hands above you. Like this: http://ipole.tv/wp-content/uploads/2009/01/hello-boys.jpg

This is me doing scissors: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=3900893&l=dabdd9bc8a&id=651395236 if that doesn’t work try http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-ak-snc1/v315/93/49/651395236/n651395236_3900893_8376.jpg

Here is a photo of the Viva seat:

It took a while for me to find it. I had seen this move once, but didn’t remember where.

Twisted Ballerina and Pretzel – I have the flexibility but still can’t pull my leg up enough, need pointers!

On-pole splits (maybe a splits stretching vid? or do you already have one?) with ways to get in and out (specifically out…lol)

Rubber variations – there’s got to be a way to stretch/contort every move further and I’d love to know how!

    CAR to TG Aysha

There’s always more, but that’s as many as I can remember https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif
