Sierra Taye, that sucks, I didn’t even think about that. However, if it makes you feel any better, it was so loud in there, you probably wouldn’t be able to meet anyone anyway. The after party isn’t really the best place to do that anyway, the actual expo room and pole star Q&A is (in my opinion). Also, since they had the after party the first night of the expo this year, I think a lot of the “stars” left early and/or didn’t show up at all since they are teaching this morning. (Hugs)

@Sierra Taye
I do not drink. Doctor’s orders. But I tend to avoid parties where there is a lot of drinking. You don’t meet too many people as usually too loud to talk. For meeting any of the “names” they will have too many people around them to get much closer than when they were on stage. If there was someone you wanted to meet & speak with, check where they are appearing at other days (workshops, vendor booths, etc.) and you probably could catch them before or after and have a short conversation. Did that once and ended up having coffee with several people.
Did not make it to Pole Expo this year. Have been to other events and I skip most of the parties. If I was in Vegas last night, instead of the party I would have went to the Freemont Experience. I love that. -
Usually there are two after parties anyway and most of the “pole stars” are at the Bad Kitty party. It was amazing last year and held in the King Pin suite. I heard the other one was fun as well, but did not stop by that one. I have no idea how it went this year though.

Hey y’all, tomorrow is the last day of this AMAZING EXPO EXPERIENCE. I have nothing really planned after 2:00 tomorrow, and I’d like another chance for us to all meet up. Anyone down to do a Studio Veena pole jam session together in the Aerial Playground? Let’s do it!
-
Unfortunately, I have workshops at 1pm, 2:15 and 4:30 so I won’t be able to make it. It was soooo nice meeting all of you lovely ladies, especially those of you whose vids I watch regularly on SV!

Do you have to sign in for the workshops?Can anyone just come an walk around and check out the vendors? Also is anyone going to be at some of the non pole workshops tomorrow? The ATL booty or the SWAG one? (Ok theme I need to learn how to shake it :p ) cheers an hope to see some of you tomorrow…

Soooooo fun meeting meeting veneers. This is the most I’ve met at an event! Sorry for those who couldn’t make any of the meet up times. It’s so hard with everything going on. It was frustrating for me having an old flip phone so I don’t have social media contact when away from hotel room where I use my table or laptop. I tried the tablet out of the room and didn’t have connection everywhere. Will post pics soon. I am BEAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At the airport getting ready to go home. I brought a large bag and was nervous about how much my it would weigh due to all my pole swag. Glad to say I checked in at 45.5 pounds. ..yes! Enjoyed meeting everyone and how to meet more of you next year.

It was great to meet those of you that I could! Everything from the waist up hurts right now, that is a great sign 🙂 Had a blast and am pretty bummed its over and I am back at my boring ass day job. But I had a couple of successes at the Expo- first Aysha and Cartwheel Mount!!! Woo Hoo!

Seems like everyone went back to work today. Guess this 58 yr old just couldn’t recover enough to get my butt to work. Emailed boss and office admin asst that I’m not going in lol Went back to bed till 9am and trying to come back to life.

Everyone else glad you had an awesome time!!!!!! Can’t wait for 2015 and maybe we all could enter the biggest studio attendees :p
-
Oh man, what a GREAT idea!!!!! Biggest studio group!!!! Let’s keep this in mind for next year!! Someone will have to start posts in advance since I have CRS (Can’t Remember Shit) lol

@ e mac the funny thing is that I’m serious! I was in the hospital for three days, and was released last Monday night. I’m four months pregnant and because of both, I thought I was going to have to cancel. I did decide to fly in last minute and so glad I did. I literally had the time of my life. I felt like I really lived and loved those moments! I’m very appreciative that I made it. Me and my two children were also in a horrific accident in March of this year so just knowing what I’ve been through, and making it there, well I was and still am more than stoked!

It was my first time at pole expo, and definitely will be there next year. Unfortunately did not meet as many studio veena members I would have love to meet more. It was amazing to experience all that pole expo has to offer and meeting polers from around the world and pole or aerial dancers in general. I agree if studio veena members had tees made with our name tags it would be easier to remember everyone’s names and would be the largest group there. Just a thought…will be posting pics soon and hope to meet everyone at pole expo 2015 😉
