I was finding hotel rooms for $45 on hotels.com. Directly downtown is going to be more expensive but a little outside of the city (5-10 miles) rooms can be found cheap. -
Do be cautious where you book a room.
In the city is also a bit far…and some areas are not as safe to stay at. We are going to be about 50 minutes south of downtown Chicago and transporation will not be easily available from the city to the suburbs.
I’ve recommended a couple of hotels in Tinley Park and Orland Park…if considering anywhere else, please ask me here or by email at mailto:info@etedance.com

This is sad that my pole parties are starting to run together!! (or I can’t think of anything else but seeing the men of pole next week!!!)

We have confirmed our venue and are renting at our local park district building.

Minimum 6 poles but I’m going back there today to check it out we may have 8 or 9 poles.
10.5 foot ceilingsI’m awaiting info from Michelle and Katrina who will be offering a workshop at the jam location (prior to or afterward) and private/semi-privates at our studio (which is 35 minutes east in Chicago Heights) that morning or Sunday morning.
Also looking to plan an outing for afterward.
Once I get Michelle’s information I will post times but we are looking at starting the jam around mid to late afternoon and running it for 3 hours.
So mark 8/7 on your calendar and start making travel plans!

This is about 13 minutes from the jam. I’ve not known anyone who has stayed there. Expedia reviews were ok…Trip advisor were poor. If anyone is interested I can see if I can check it out and see what it feels like walking into the place and ask if I can see a room. Just let me know.
I’d still advise the previous two hotels in Tinley park I mentioned before…Tinley park holiday Inn or Wingate Wyndham

The pole jam is going to be $30 per person if we run for 3 hours which I am pretty certain we are doing but MIGHT change based on the workshops, etc.
Michelle is still getting back to me about the workshops and privates content and cost…I should know by the end of this week.
I will check out the condition of the hotel later this week or next week but I can tell you that the area it’s in is very safe and fine to be in, even if you’re traveling alone.

Yep… and I know Michelle Mynx is brining a crew with too and I have a number of students planning to buy tickets…it’s going to sell out I’m certain.
I wish I could have found a larger location but between ceiling limitations, room sizes and who will ALLOW us to do this I was limited.

50 is still a huge crowd of people. Crap, whatever bar we end up at is going to LOVE us!

and that is 50 pole dancers at the venue, where ever we go after is going to be more then that with spouses or boyfriends….although not all will want to head out after the jam I guess.

Yeah..it could go either way. I’m going to wait until everyone has bought tickets to see how many are probably going to plan on heading out afterward.

There are so many of us, especially Jenn, Jenny, Jennifer…. in the pole community. Can’t wait to meet you! There are several MI members on here that are going, although I am not sure who all yet, hopefully we’ll get a proper head count closer to the event. It is going to be a blast!!
