Welcome!! How was your lesson?
Hi Ladies, It was fantastic. I used to run pretty regularly and in the last 2 years I have really stopped exercising, so 2 days later every muscle in my body hurts (in a good way). Because my schedule is so crazy (I work 8-3) and then also consult for a kitchen product company on the side I couldn't find a class that would fit my schedule (I don't have one weekday free for the entire summer) so I decided to take private lessons. I really don't normally spend money like this. I actually am a huge saver, but I figured if I didn't just dive in and take a few lessons this would be another one of those things that I thought "oh that would be fun" and then never actually did! My instructor was so nice. I have a horrible memory. I used to have a great memory but I think because my brain never stops thinking about work I have a hard time focusing on something else 😂 So she had to keep repeating the instructions for me 😀 Plus I was just awful. I've taught lots of different things (including whitewater kayaking) so I definately know she was awesome, but I thought it was so funny that she kept telling me I was doing great because I could see what I was doing and great is not how I'd describe it 😂 New Dancer
Thats so awesome! Im super proud of all the girls who just waltz right on past the stigma and also also who come outside thier comfort zone. If you decide this is something you want to do on a more regular basis then please please please ask and shop around before buying a pole. Biggest mistake I've made so far and one Im seeing lots of other girls do too.
Hi HockeySoldier, I actually just ordered my pole. But not until after I'd spoken to my instructor and read lots on this board. I ordered a 50 mm Chrome X Pole. It should be in soon. I am super excited. 🤸 I think I'll be happy with it. New Dancer

I just got my pole yesterday and it's also a 50mm chrome xpole - and I love, love LOOOVE it 😂 .. Poledancing is so much fun. Can't wait 'till my muscles stop hurting so I can get on the pole again ^-^ . Hope you get your pole soon 😉 Kamilla
