Need to pick a new pole
well I’ve decided to convert my guest room that’s never used into my new pole room but the ceiling in there is vaulted like this /-\ and the flat part at the top is only 12in wide. My Xpole’s dome is 15inches! I’ve already asked my husband to make something to flatten the ceiling like a wedge, but he said no! He said that I should just order a new pole. I’ve been looking at lil mynx and PS poles but I can’t decide what I want. What I really want is a 45mm (1 3/4in) spinning pole. Maybe I’m not looking right but I can’t seem to find one anywhere. I have a 50mm Xpole but I want to get a thinner one because I have tiny hands. Any suggestions? should I just suck it up and get a 50mm spinning pole or a 45mm static? thanks

What about the super skinny PS pole. it’s.. 1.75 inch, which is close to 45.
It spins.. I don’t know the plate width, and I don’t know if it comes in multipiece, but it may be worth looking into.

PS poles have a 12 inch ceilng plate so that would work for you and they also now offer a skinny pole.
I hate to say it but I would stay away from Lil Minx as their pole badly damage my ceiling so I am not a big fan.
PS is your best bet and they even make a vaulted ceiling adapter if you need one and all of their poles come standard with a spin option. I believe I heard the skinny removeable is available in brass and stainless – not too sure. If you are used to chrome you might find stainless to be a bit more slippy than chrome and it takes a little longer to warm up.

thanks for your advice ladies, I totally overlooked the PS small spinning pole. I’ll have to talk to my husband about that. But hmm more slippery than chrome, not sure that sounds so good LOL. maybe I’ll have to try the brass out somewhere. such a tough decision, stupid vaulted ceiling! LOL
