Marlo Fisken and her Pole Superstar performance
I saw this video a while back right after the Pole Superstar event in NYC and LOVED it. I happened to watch it again last night and WOW I am still f-ing blown away! I just had to post something on here so all you Veena girls could see it! Why doesn’t this girl have more street cred?? She is fucking fantastic!! She seriously ROCKED that house! Look at the ingenious way she moved between poles!! Look at how she ‘becomes’ the music. Look at how she connected with the audience. She is powerful, saucy, funny, unique, sexy, and glorious through the whole damn performance. Do yourself a favor and watch if you already haven’t:

There are other videos of this performance, obviously filmed by a guy. The audio on this one is bit rough, but at least the camera isn’t up her ass the whole time.

I took Marlo’s 6wk pole course at Shockra studios in NYC. she is absolutely AMAZING, it is so hard to keep your eyes off of her when she moves. Best dancer (on and off the pole) that I have ever seen. Her classes are fun, and best of all she is seriously hilarious…she really knows how to keep the energy up.
What blows my mind even more is that she has only been doing pole for 2 years and when she started, she claims she couldn’t even do a pull up…so there is hope for me. And yeah, she was definitely ROBBED at Pole Superstar. I’m guessing the chick who won had all of the S-factor chicks texting in 50 votes each or something.

can we keep this positive rather than negative please? i think we have talked about the end result of pole superstar– it wasn’t a talent competition, it was honestly a popularity contest. but that doesn’t mean that the audience members tried to rig the vote.
i take classes at sfactor and i voted ONCE for the one i enjoyed the most.

i would hope that was joking, but i still don’t think it’s nice to make generalizations about people based on where they may or may not take class! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_redface.gif i think everything lovely that people have said about marlo is true but come on, i’m not sitting there texting anyone 50 times in a day and neither is anyone i know (and i knew almost all of the sfactor women there). that was just unneccesary!
i think it’s more fun to come and participate with posts when you know people are truly being open minded and considerate, and that cattiness etc is not welcomed… even in joking around!

i saw the butt bikini thing in my research to find something similar, but in person those things were not tight on her at all, and they didn’t pull into her buttcheek the way those do. maybe she had it loose?
