Hi All
Is anyone interested in a London Pole Jam mid July?
I know a couple of people messaged me about this on Facebook but I deleted my account and now can’t remember who was interested…apologies to those of you who mailed me!

Hi LilM,
I’m in zone 5, North Chingford, it’s a 5 minute cab ride from the central line and a 10 min walk from National rail.
About half an hour from Liverpool st to either of the above.
I don’t have 5 years experience like you but would be great for a few of us to get together as no one in London seems to do pole get togethers!

I was just going to see if you had seen this what a coincidence. I don’t have anything on the weekends in my diary for August yet so if we set a date soon I can put it in before it gets busy and I should be able to make it. Do we have a studio lined up for the jam?

Hi All
Since I don’t really know of anywhere with space for a pole and lots of people, it would be a mini jam at mine. I have a pole and plenty of sofa space. I recently moved stuff around to give me more space in comparison to what my videos show.
If that’s ok you’re all welcome to converge at mine! If it’s a little small we can always find somewhere with more space for the next time?

Hmmm well how about my studio as I have 6 poles & crash mats, air con etc… It is in Maidstone Kent, maybe a saturday in August? I’ll advertise it a lil more & see if there is anyone else interested! xx

Is it hard to get to Maidstone from ooop north? Might be interested if I can get there (and back home in one day) easily and cheaply enough https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

It may take a while as if you get the train you have to travel through London to get to Maidstone. If you drive it’s round the M25 to the M20 which is just after the dartford crossing. Be good to see you if you can get down.

Ok, well I found a studio in North London , It’s at the Basement Dance Studio, 10 mins from the tube (victoria Line) or 15 min bus to Kings Cross.
Here’s the detail:
4 Solid Poles
Sprung floor
Floor to ceiling mirrors
Natural lighting
Cd, Ipod, laptop and cassette facilities
Changing rooms
Air conditioning

I’ve had jazz and ballet lessons with the school so I know it exists. If anyone is interested let me kow, otherwise am happy to join Lilm in Kent if we can set a date? If we get 4 people for the place above then it’s only going to be £7 pp, so the more people we get the better, 4 poles would be good for 8 people.

Ive been away on holiday and only got back last nite.So in order for me to hire the studio I want at least 10 people there (i dont mind hiring it or and dont want any money for it but it needs to be worthwhile)
