Yesterday while poling around I was repeatedly doing a pole to floor role (think dirty birdy)just playing with it and changing and perfecting. Then “tweak!” “Oh that didn’t feel good.” I tweaked my neck just slightly (I think while tilting my head at a noise) and gave my pole the “eh we are done for now” glare. Afterwards my husband laughed, because when I say “I hurt myself” he automatically assumes I rolled wrong on my shoulder while shoulder mounting, or slipped out of an invert. Not a little ground work.

I’ve done the same thing. I had a very loud fall last week (only from a few inches off the ground but my heels made it sound like the house was coming down), and I had no injury from that, but like you I’ve ended up at the chiropractor from turning my head a certain way.

Tweaked my knee this week doing a move I’ve been doing for years…just a simple cross-knee release. I also keep tweaking my wrist doing simple things like reaching for my seatbelt in the car or picking up my backpack.
