I’m new to Instagram and watched a few of these vids and love them! I know how to copy the link by clicking on the… However, how do I paste it elsewhere when using my phone? Hopefully someone can guide me so that I can learn some of these moves! Thanks ladies.

Vdub, it should just paste as if you were copying and pasting any text… it all depends on what kind of phone you have I guess.
Also just as a side note… I’ve started pinning stuff to pinterest. I find it easy to locate things because there is a thumbnail and you can easily save things from instagram, and even organize them into catagories. 🙂
This is my “to try” board: https://www.pinterest.com/AllysonKendal/pole-to-try/ -
Oh wow Allyson! I currently just paste the link under a short description in my notepad (on my phone) but now I’m definitely going to look into the Pinterest angle! Thanks!!!

I normally paste using the Ctrl V function. But I’ve noticed on my android phone there is no control key… Lol!
-
okay, I’m new to Pinterest too… Lol! So, how do I get an Instagram video to my Pinterest? yep, I need step by step instructions!
-
Ok, hmmm….
I usually do it from my computer where I installed a chrome add on, so I just have to hit the Pinterest button. That’s easy, but I’m not sure about other browsers or anything. From your phone I think the first step would be figuring out how to paste. I have an iPhone so I only know how to paste on that…
But using the Pinterest app. (See attached picture)You go to your page, hit the +, then select to pin from Web, and paste the link in there…
Hope that helps some!

Also, I’m going to make my way through this thread eventually!!! Don’t be surprise if you see some of these pop up on my Pinterest board!:)

Just another side note on Pinterest: I know a lot of people have excel sheets and stuff… but its also possible to Pin a picture of a move (like from Veena’s gallery) and move it from board to board (like Want to try, Working on or Perfected)
Currently Im not that organized. But I’m seeing the possibilities.

LMAO!!!! All this time I thought Instagram was only a mobile app so I’ve been trying to paste from Instagram to Pinterest on my mobile phone. Now that I’ve figured out that I can access Instagram online, it’s all good. I know what I’m doing during lunch today! @AllysonKendal thanks so much for your patience 🙂

Looks like an easier janeiro entry than how I have been trying…spinning down from CAR into flag grip. https://instagram.com/p/3u-gfswG-X/

Tropical Verical, that hand behind the back trick was something very high on my to do list!!!
-
Hooray Aerial Amy has broken down that Vertical Yoga levitation trick

I’m a little late to the conversation, but this list is awesome and very inspirational! 😀

I love this. Aerial fan kick to elbow grip upright flower spin to elbow grip splits https://instagram.com/p/36zuYNlrxk/

Don’t know what it is, Icarus type thing but looks not that hard and super pretty. Dying for some pole time so can try https://instagram.com/p/39bn9ilr-s/

Lots of cool moves in this thread. What’s your favorite move that you saw on Instagram that you’ve mastered (or at least are really close 😉 I’ve picked out quite a few that I’d like to try, but I haven’t started yet.
-
so far this is my fave move/combo i’ve seen on instagram, i dunno that i’ve *mastered* it but i feel pretty good about it and its just soooo pretty 🙂 https://instagram.com/p/swI5PFiFH-/ (my most recent version: https://instagram.com/p/3AKlqdmULy/)

Lucca, I love that combo!!!
I keep feeling like from that upright sailboat thing a nice combo would be to come in front of the pole and princess grip shoulder mount, but I’m not great at shoulder mounting with that grip… So aerially on spin isn’t spinning.
-
@Lucca I think you looked awesome. I’m soooo tight in my shoulders that I have a hard time wrapping myself around the pole. More to work on!
-
@allysonkendall Ohh I will have to try that! Dunno if I can do it but I can’t try it 🙂
@vdub if I remember correctly, something to help get you behind the pole if your shoulders aren’t that flexible is to hike your hip up a little so you are kind of sticking your butt out to help wrap your legs around the pole versus going off of pure shoulder flexibility. I think a lot of people just let one hand come off the pole too but that freaks me out a bit o_O
