WOW! Just when you think you've seen it all, somebody comes up with a new impossible trick.

Ha I saw the thumbnail of this on facebook and went oh she's just doing the starfish with her hands on. I didn't realise she was completely bent in half and facing the other way! Good grief, my back is aching just thinking about it!

What I couldn't figure out was how she got into it.  Her hands are facing opposite directions, but her feet are facing the same direction.  My best guess is that she was in a sort of starfish/cupid, held on with the top hand, and then reached around to grab the pole with the bottom hand.  What do you guys think?

kinda looks like she was doing the iron x , then brought her bottom foot ON the pole…. then once she had her balance brought her higher foot up an hooked it behind the pole… then to bend all the way back like that she prob had to bring her hands closer together to get the arch.

I saw other ways in my head like from the ex butterfly or just standing from the floor then putting ur foot on the pole an lifting ur other leg up there but the iron x i saw in my head was the one that made more sence lol. but who knows! we should ask her! hehe

All I keep thinking is, “how the hell does he stay up there – just by his ankle?”.
It doesn’t hurt either that he is HOT.

My fiancee looked at the pic and said the same thing (about him staying up, not about his hotness…hahaha!)

Yeah, isn't it some kind of shoulder mount lock? (Not that I can even do a shoulder mount.)

There's a different neck trick in this one (1:48), but pretty much the whole video falls under "I wish I could do that":

I have an idea of how he got into that trick.  I lean towards what chumpchkin said and a trick that I (kinda sorta…I did it once) trick that I learned from Michelle Stanek. Here's my attempt: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=3724091858825&set=t.100003662366868&type=3&theater He's doing the same side leg and shoulder though. So if I somehow magically extended my top leg (Michelle could, it was awesome) I think I would create enough tension to let go with the other hand.

Getting into it is a twisted grip top hand/cup grip bottom hand shoulder mount.
