I was in a movie today!
Hi Guys!!!
I feel like I’m constantly writing "Sascha’s Current Event" but this is actually really cool- so this director is shooting a B-movie (straight to video) here where I live and needed some dancers for background shots; so long story short, me and another girl from troupe got to be the ones in the movie!
So we got up today and met at the studio, then drove to the set- which was a very scuzzy strip-club right by the airport. LOL! So we walked in and got changed (I wore my 5" boots, frilly undies, and a corset type top with lots of makeup and fake eyelashes and wild hair, the works basically). Then we had to dance around the pole (to this super cheesy music) for about an hour (with mini breaks of course) while he shot us doing different tricks and stuff. In the meantime, the director had ALL these guys in the chairs around the poles watching us and they were calling out "woohoo" and whistling and stuff. Then he shot us walking seductively around the pole, and we had to do an exit walk. Anyways, we were there for like 3 hours and it was funny because he said that probably they’ll only use like 2 minutes of the footage LOL!
The movie comes out in October and the director said he’d give us both a copy of the dvd and a copy of the raw footage of us just dancing around, so as soon as I get that (which wont be for awhile, but when I do) I’ll post it on this site cuz then you’ll see me REALLY dancing and not just being a nerd in my room.
But I wanted to tell everyone because it’s such a cool thing and it relates to pole dancing. I think our names will be in the credits and the online website has our names on it too which is interesting. Thanks Guys! I’m not sure the exact name of the movie to be honest, it’s a horror flick though- we were laughing in the car because I was asking the other troupe girl what the movie was about, and she was like, "It’s a really BAD horror movie". I asked her to email me the website so when I get it I’ll post it.
The interesting thing was, was that the main character was there, this itty bitty girl who’s posed in playboy *coughwhyidontknowcuzshesnothingspecialcough* and it was so fun hearing her talk because she was SO FULL OF HERSELF. she was talking about signing autographs and posing with fans and stuff, it was just a really interesting experience.
the director must have thought i was super young because he kept calling me darling and treated me more like he would a daughter than a dancer. me and the other girl kept laughing because the poles were SO SLIPPERY and when he was filming we couldn’t remember ONE move to do; we were in those big tall boots, and the thing is is that ive never really worn those boots much before (last night being one of the first times) but overall i did ok https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif
i really have a great respect for dancers and strippers now, the guys who were there to watch us treated us like meat, were whistling and making noises, i wondered how many of them had gotten *coughhardcough*….and when i was doing my solo part at the end this group of older guys were like, "ummmmm, can we redo that? i think she needs to redo that so we can see her butt again"
i cant wait to get the footage!!!!!!!!!!!!

thank you so much guys!!! i really appreciate everybody’s comments so much!! rouge that is SO COOL that you’ve directed a movie before! i don’t have any pictures, but they were taking lots of them, so hopefully they’ll go up on the website soon, and then in october we’ll get the full dvd and then the director is making us both raw footage of the entire shoot and i’ll post bits of it on here https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif i got the website, i’ll post it for a few days and will take it down then…

I’m loving the set for dancing.

I love film and am trying hard to get back into the industry as I love it so much.

Ooohhh Sascha I’m so excited for you!!!! Are you Dancer 2 on the cast list? The stage is totally cool, if I was there, you would not have been able to tear me away from the pole. I can’t wait to see you in costume.
Oh Rouge, that was a cool short film. Did you get a placing in the 48hour comp? And was that your lizard in the movie?
