I have a challenge idea

It may have been done before.

I think it'd be fun to choose 2 songs (one slow, one fast) and everyone would dance to each of them. There would be such a range of styles of dance and interpretation, and I think it'd be extremely interesting and inspiring to see my pole brothers and sisters dancing to the same music as me!

Sounds like fun. I would love to see how many completely different vids come from the same songs!

Cool idea! I've been dying to see what the next challenge is going to be for a week now! Seeing the different variations would be phenomenal!

I think a challenge of one fast, one slow is a great idea and awesome for a learning experience 😀

I like this idea. It'll be so interesting to see everyone's different interpretations!

I've been eagerly awaiting the next challenge so I can … well, challenge myself!

I'm only new to poling, but would love any feedback. When are the monthly challenges usually released? and can we do old challenges?

Veena, I think you should just make a list of slow songs + a list of fast and toss a dart to pick! 🙂

@Veena- I would think either go with "classic" poling songs. Or obscure songs. LOL. Either something that most would know and maybe danced to or songs that few if any have danced to. 🙂

I'd love a Hendrix song for the fast one–like American Woman, Foxy Lady, or something by Joan Jett…some classic pole song. 🙂

For slow pole songs, I love everything by Lykke Li. The music is just so .. tender .. in lack of a better word!:)

I LOVE The Weeknd! They have some awesome music for pole dancing! Thanks Amy for letting us know they have a new album out! Can’t wait to see what the first new challenge for 2012 will be!

This is an awesome challenge Idea!

And I have been loving some good classic rock lately. Bad to the bone is my pole song of the month, lol. As far as ‘obscure’, Ive been dying to try some Rush, but they are so complex…

It would be fun to do a hip "quirky" song everyone is listening too- like I work out! lol

I remember awhile back everyone did the porn star dancer when it was raging around. SOngs like that are always fun for group interpretation! (i know we alredy did that one)

I never know the names of songs- I ususally hear new music here and get addicted to a song- like SAIL!

Sooo many to choose from! Gonna go listen to weekend now

fast is green medium yellow and slow is red … Enjoy !!! =)

Ok loving these, I'll make the "official" post tomorrow for the challenge. Please feel free to post some more song ideas. I like the thought of both older and news songs, one of each.
