Holy balls! I almost killed the dog!
Posted by Christa on March 26, 2009 at 5:25 amOMG I feel sooo bad! We have a cat & a dog…small dog, a malti-poo. I left the door open to the workout room while I was practicing & the dog decided to come in with one of his toys. Problem is, I didn’t see him & had just started a spin. Needless to say I spun right around & punted him halfway across the room! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_redface.gif
He gave me the dirtiest look! LOL I gave him some treats, so I think he’s over it now. Guess I need to keep the door closed! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif

Aww poor pup I’ve accidentally done that to my dog too but he’s a solid 38lbs. So he usually moves an inch and I end up coming to a dead stop in the middle of my spin and falling over him. Hope your pup is alright, they are always so forgiving hehe https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

Poor puppy! I’ve kicked my dog in a spin at least a dozen times. For some reason, she just doesn’t learn to back up. She seems to be afraid for my safety when I pole-maybe she’s smarter than I think! LOL.

Ah the poor little thing! Im sure he’s ok now. Animals really are so forgiving! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

I’m always so worried about doing that to my cat! He has a bad habit of coming in and the worst times! My dogs stay away, they must know it’s not the best place for them haha. I’m sure your pup is okay now https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif treats always help!

LOL! Poor thing. Smaller dogs usually have better recovery rather than the bigger one’s when they’re punted across the room. My dog’s been kicked once or twice and now stands away from the pole. She also licks my pole!?!?! When I catch her she acts like she’s been caught in the depth of a guilty pleasure. I use baby wipes to clean it and she’s not eating them straight from the packet so I don’t know why. I think I just have an odd dog.

Awww – my dog is the same! He likes to watch me spin around, and when I first got my pole he’d just watch me do spins and my foot would be smacking him in the face over and over and he never moved – just stood there…I think he was just guarding to make sure I hadn’t gone crazy with all that spinning! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif

Tell me about it! I’m scared to death to dance in stilletos for fear I’ll impale my cat who likes to just wander around my pole! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_pale.gif I live in an Efficiency apartment, so there’s no place to lock him up in! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif

Aww don’t feel bad, he didn’t get too badly hurt. I’ve done that before myself… woops. My puppy ALWAYS chases me around the pole so I have to lock her in the other room or we’d have a pomeranian shaped hole in the wall haha.
