Hi from Boston! Looking for competitions
Hi everyone! I’ve been dancing off and on for years. I joined this site because I HAD TO KNOW how the seemingly impossible Allegra move worked and yeah… it was worth $20 to find out! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif
My question: Does anyone know if there are small or regional pole competions that a girl from Boston could enter? I will travel anywhere within the country. I just know it’s a waste of my time trying for USPDF. There has to be something intermediate … right? I just want a goal to work toward to keep me focused since I’m quitting my job at the nightclub https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

Super Shag is in Boston in October. All levels 🙂 I may enter this year!

I think I also might enter in Supershag. I love that it’s all levels! I know there’s a competition at polecon that has a novice category!

Do you need to be from a certain geographical area to enter?

No, I did Supershag last year and will be doing it again this year. There was one girl that I met from Washington (state) and quite a few people from New York and North Carolina. 🙂

Nice!! What division are you in?

I do a doubles routine and both of us have hectic schedules so we prefer to do the showcase as opposed to competing!
