Help! X Pert Thread Won’t Adjust
Bought a used X pert pole and noticed I could not decrease the height of the pole past a certain point. It wasn't a big deal at first because I could install the pole at 8ft and 10ft. I recently had a friend whom I introduced to pole and I was planning on letting her borrow that pole for a while. And of course she has 9ft ceilings! The threads on the adjuster part are fine. I think it may be something wrong with the threads inside the pole. I've spoken to X Pole when I first got the pole and they basically told me that I would need to either buy a new pole B or the adjuster. Does anyone have any suggestion of how I can fix the problem? I've tried lubricating both parts and it still won't work. I've manipulated it so much that now I can't even increase the height because it's wedged and won't move. I'm hoping there's a place where I can take the part and have them look at it, but I have no idea where to start. If all else fails, I'll probably just buy a new B pole and adjuster. Thanks
