Hello! Anyone from Canada- ON?
Never formally introduced myself!
I’m 20. Got my pole less than 2 weeks ago, but I’ve been watching pole videos online almost daily for months now. I find it fascinating. I’ve never done dancing/sports, I have a TON of strength yet to build, but hey you gotta start somewhere right? Just interested to know if there’s anyone here from Toronto, Canada?
Personally I don’t know anyone around here into poledancing, but it would be really cool if there are!

Hello From Oakville Ontario. My name is MJ and I am an Pole Dance Fitness Instructor for Aradia Fitness Canada.
We have studios all across Southern Ontario Toronto, Brampton Oakville just to name a few. We offer a non-judgemental enviroment, and are so passonate about teaching this amazing form of fitness for women of all ages, shapes, and sizes. I have been poling for 4 years, am 52 years old. It doesn’t take long to to prove to a group of girls in the room that not only can I fly all over up and down the pole, but it is an amazing kick-ass workout and just love the look on their faces as they see me combo spins, invert, and "rock the pole". Please don’t refer to yourself as a beginner poler–your moves are intermediate to advanced and are executed perfectly. You are one amazing pole bunny!! yah i actually took 4 or 5 classes at Aradia a while ago, but i have a pole at home now and i prefer learning at home for now (plus classes are kinda costly). maybe if i become advanced i’ll look into professional training https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif
i have to say though i was by far the youngest in my class! there was no one else in my age group lol. -

All right VEENA. I’m starting to come out slowly but surely. I’m Joni from mississauga, ontario. I have been pole dancing for 2 years. I’m 43 and just felt so much older than you all in your 20’s and 30’s, so I HAVE BEEN HIDING just watching all the great vids and great topics. BUT i am slowly creaping out of the woodwork. Hello from Brantford! We finally got a studio here, so I get to take classes. I fled TO in the 90’s with small children due to the fact that this place is more kid-friendly (strollers on the TTC, ugh!) but I come into the city every now and then. Welcome to Veena’s. I am from Toronto, I have been pole dancing for just over 5 months. I find it incredably addictive!! I wish I had more time to dedicate to pole practise!

im also new, my name is Sarah im 24…..well 25 in a few weeks…
ANYWAY i live in Port Colborne….(near Niagara Falls ) ontario. Toronto isn’t to far from me.
I started pole dancing after i had a pole party with a bunch of friends and loooved it!! Now im taking classes once a week. Im in week 6 and just learning to invert. Im finished them right before Christmas, THEN im trying out the lessons on here, instead of doing the dvd route. Everyone seems to be doing great!!i also and wanted to get in better shape over the winter so0o0o, i splurged and bought a xpole. (Merry X-mas to me!!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif hehe) it just arrived this past wed. I can’t leave it alone!!! Everytime i walk into that room i atleast have to touch it. whats wrong with me?
Ohh and i had no idea how sore and bruised up https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_blackeye.gif i would be. but still love it. I can’t wait to be doing all the amazing things you guys do on the pole! yay.

Hello from Brantford!! I know where you are! I love going to Niagara Falls (Clifton Hill’s my favourite!) and getting lost on the roads in and around Twenty Valley and going "Holy crap! Gretzky’s got a vineyard too?!" I’ve been to St. Catherines (the Mandarin there’s the BEST), but haven’t been to your town yet!

Hiya; I’m from Toronto as well…nobody has posted in sometime but I thought I would post anyway. I live and work in Toronto. I’m almost 43…I just purchased an xpert from Sissy Buns and it should arrive next week and right now seems really far away!
I work out at Aradia Fitness-downtown and have been seriously taking lessons since January. I started with a beginner class in November but wasn’t sure about it(so it doesn’t count)… but went back to class in January and now I’m a full on addict. I’m in Durham and was taking classes locally. Got into a car accident so I’ve had to stop for now. Can’t wait to get back on the pole as soon as I can.
