I am totally down with this idea. A second X-mas pole party!!! WooHoo!!! We should defintely figure out what the plans are so we can make arrangements for carting people to DC and back to their hotels etc. I can take 3 people possibly 4 in my car. I am still trying to stay up that way Sat. night so I can take Fleur’s workshop at PP on Sun.

Has anyone checked with Jessalynn about this? Just want to make sure it isn’t a "clients only" party since studios do invitation only parties sometimes. Maybe JC can check for us?

I’ve been offline for the last week and just getting caught up on this thread.
I’m super stoked about the jam. I think most of you said you were flying into BWI, but for anyone who happens to fly into DCA… I am less than 15 min from DCA and happy to pick you up anytime.
I don’t have a bed to offer, but I do have a couch and a spare shower for anyone who needs to save a buck and just needs to crash.
I am bummed that I can’t make it to Fleur’s workshop or out for anything early Friday night (previous commitment to another holiday party). But PLEASE let me know which strip club you all will be at and *fingers crossed* I’ll be able to meet you all up there before they kick you out.
Count me in for dinner/drinks/Pole Pressure party etc Saturday night. I can fit 3-4 girls in my VW Bug if you want to squeeze… and if we all drink too much Saturday night I’ve got couch and floor space (metro accessible so no need for a DD)

I really would like to hang out with you gals on Friday so E if you want to split a hotel Friday night I’m happy to do that. For anyone interested in the workshops I will be giving that weekend, here is the information:
At Chic Physique Fitness in Bethesda:
POLE DANCE WORKSHOP (beginner/intermediate) December 18th 7:00pm – 8:30pm
In an hour and a half, you will learn a choreographed routine incorporating tricks and transitions. Amber will break down each movement so that it is appropriate for all levels and will teach you her signature balletic style which emphasizes extensions and fluidity.MASTERS WORKSHOP (intermediate/advanced) December 18th 8:30pm – 10:00pm
It’s all about the tricks in this one and a half hour workshop! Amber will teach you some of her signature tricks and you are encouraged to come in with requests.CONDITIONING & FLEXIBILITY WORKSHOP (for all)December 20th 9:30am – 11:00am
In this workshop, we will start with exercises specific for injury prevention. Amber will teach you how to strengthen you rotator cuff muscles before showing you how to improve your flexibility in a safe manner. We will then learn a short floorwork routine, long pants or leg warmers are a must for this one and a half hour workshop.At Pole Pressure in D.C. :
MASTERS WORKSHOP (intermediate/advanced) December 20th 1:00pm – 2:30pm
It’s all about the tricks in this one and a half hour workshop! Amber will teach you some of her signature tricks and you are encouraged to come in with requests.You will need to register through the studios at http://www.chicphysiquefitness.com or http://www.polepressure.com
Prices are determined by the studio but will be in the range of 50-75 dollars.

I would like to eat food after the jam…. I think we should either decide to eat as a mega-party, or be fluid and break off into genre eating so we don’t have to reserve space at a restyraunt!

Aw crap. I’m right down in Virginia and I had thought about how fun it would be meetin everyone when the thread began. I’m doing christmas with my stepkids that weekend though and can’t be missing for a whole day. Please please please keep me in mind next time everyone gets together. Have a blast! Hi Kari, I was going to have some kind of mixer at my house on friday but a lot of people wont be in until satrday and I’ll be working all day Friday too and won’t have time to prepare for it so I changed my mind on that. Me and Roxy (and our respective baby daddys) are however going to go to a stripclub later on that night and you’re more then welcome to come.
