It’s official! I’m coming! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif The cheapest flight I could find were flying in and out on weekdays…which means I am making a 4 day trip of it! I will be giving workshops at Chic Physique on Friday the 18th and Sunday the 20th and also doing one workshop at Pole Pressure on sunday! I believe that with kilala’s friend, that makes it 18. So one more slot is open! Castleoutsier: when will you know for sure if you can come? there are another 2 girls (jimella) who mentioned an interest in coming, but i couldn’t tell from their post if they were certain. And since there’s only one spot left, i don’t know if only one of them would still want to come without the other.

I wouldn’t mind being a designated driver for Strip Club Friday. I don’t drink, but being the DD would give me an excellent excuse to be a sober breast-gazer.

Wow–this looks like great fun. I was aware something was in the works–and my sister lives in DC, so I would’ve had a free place to stay. But My mom’s Birthday is Christmas Day…and everybody comes HERE, lol–to Chicago. So it’s a crazy week and it all falls on Laurie to do all the cooking and I help do all the other stuff. So, no travelling for me that week!
I have to tell you…if it were 500 miles or less, I would just hop in my car and drive!! –Just to meet Azriel all the way from Greece. I know for sure I will meet the rest of you here in the US one day. I am trying to see if I can go to USPDF in March of 2010…
So, somebody could bring a lap-top with a web-cam, right? And webmaster could open the chat video window from California, right? Live pole jam on SV???
Have fun, everybody…and Fleur…hope all your workshops are filled to the capacity!

How many people will be here on Friday?
I’m thinking about having a mixer of sorts at my house on Friday night before we head out to the nudey bar. It would be a time for people to meet eachother and chit chat before we attack the pole on Saturday.

I don’t know if this makes any difference to the studio but if we have more people wanting to come than we have space for, I’m fine with being the designated spotter and not poling. I’ll be teaching lots of workshops that weekend so I’ll get plenty of pole time https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

I would love to get in on the action Friday but I have to figure out plans with Stacia and Junglecat. We were all planning on getting hotel room Saturday night so we wouldn’t have to split the afterparty early. I don’t know about getting a hotel room for both nights though. I will get back to you on this once I talk to them.
If anyone is interested in splitting a room to make things more cost effective let me know.
