Cupcake, I wasn't aware that she goes through physical therapy but it makes sense considering the demands she must place on her body. I was impressed with the utility of the stretches and the beauty of the production. Its packaging and content! I'll go look for that interview/blog. Thanks!

Joy & I just worked out a deal- I’m kerping the “wrong” dvd, and re-ordering the floorwork dvd. Do I have to tell ya’ll how hard it was not to open that dvd over the werkend!?! Hopefully I’ll get to watch it this afternoon.

    Disc 1 Beginning Foundations
I just finished level 3 at the studio I go to, and they were willing to let me skip level 4, going into level 5 for my next class. I have been taking Veena’s online lessons for 3 months, and am in the intermediate section-I worked on my caterpillar for the first time this morning. In my class, I was getting a little tired of the chair, and some other basic stuff. However, Felix’s dvd makes it all new again! She has some variations that I haven’t seen before, and she just “stylizes” everything-her little dancer posed hands are so beautiful! Then there’s the “Variations” section at the end, and the routine will have a jaw-dropping effect on those who see it. I would agree:this dvd is for beginner thru advanced, as it will really help you polish your spins and add some pizazz to your performances…so glad I got to keep it!

I'm the webmaster for felixcane.com.  I'm glad I came across this thread.  I'm finding out that there needs to be more transparency with the mini-store.  I will work on that.  Anyway, selecting the "LEARN MORE…" link will lead to a full description of each DVD.  (I will make this button more prominent in the future).  I appreciate any comments.  Thanks.

    Musicaphile–

It would be GREAT for those on the fence of buying the entire collection to see maybe 30 second previews of each DVD. And it would really provide a leg-up over the other pole DVD's I've seen that don't offer mini-previews. That would probably work better than just the discriptions alone.

These reviews get me so stoked to order mine. I wanted to order my set a while back, when I had the money, but I wasn't sure, since I couldn't "preview" each DVD. And when the release date was pushed back, my money went to bills instead. 🙁

Sorry cupcake11, I'm not the owner just the webmaster.  I'll forward the request to Felix's management team.  As for the shoes, you can ask Felix yourself at http://www.facebook.com/#!/profile.php?id=100000459358263.  I think she has some time on her hands.  If not, leave a message at https://www.felixcaneinc.com/contact.php.

As for 30 second preview, that's a good idea. I'll pass that message along, as well, and see if we can get some footage.

@ Cupcake, I LOVE these DVDs… each and every one of them. She is just SO DARN CUTE! A contradiction considering she is a super athlete powerhouse. I love all the details she puts on moves, I am learning so many new things from basics up. I just had to agree with you… I like the way you said her 'stylizing'… that is exaclty it. They are my absolute favorite pole dancing DVDs.

JeHanne-I see myself eventually getting them all! I stole “stylizing” from her pocket pole app.

Just watched Disc 4: Artistry & Floorwork–it’s phenominal! Felix covers so many points on creating clean lines, and alot of thought and instruction was put into covers points for polers without a dance background (me)! Her “sky” section kinda brought tears to my eyes, I’ve only seen her jaw-dropping, lightning fast aerial moves…to see them slowly and individually is absolutely beautiful!

    @lasenzagirl

Hi, I pre-ordered the box set and was told they would take about 10 to 14 days to arrive as I'm in the U.K. too and they are sent as priority post.  I was really excited as they arrived about  9 days after the release date, via Fedex.  I love them, theres so much content on each one, so hopefully yours will be with you in no time  🙂 x

Its probably worth sending them an email if you havent received anything after a couple of weeks or so, I think mailto:they@re sent priority parcel post or something. I remember the postage being around $50 for the set.   I've just checked on my old emails and Joy quoted 6 to 10 days to the U.K.  so fingers crossed you'll get them soon.  Fiona x

I read on facebook something about the stage rigging going awry, I think she fell off the pole, I do know she broke her jaw and Joel/Poledancefan had said she is in Canada recouperating. Really can't wait to see the MJ show and I wish her a full and speedy recovery.

I think I am gonna put these on my xmas list 🙂

it was a horrible fall, she broke tons of bones it was stated the Drs and bystanders are suprised she lived.

Without her in it I have no reason on earth to see the MJ show as I dislike his music, it was bad enough that is what Lady Gaga played before she went on at the show here. I was ready to kill myself after the first 15 min.

Hi Veener's. I bought the advanced video from Felix and I'm waiting since 24 october. I sent four messages before someone answer me that my video was lost in the mail. I am still waiting. Last January, my studio has paid the assessment of PFA (the same team working). I received my card eight months later with the wrong name …

Hello Veeners, I'm considering buying Felix Cane's dvds but I'm hesitating a lot as it's quite expensive and I'm still a student so maybe I'll just buy the intermediate one but well, I don't know. I'm afraid that even the beginner one might be difficult for me, so that would be great if someone who has bought the series could tell me what are the different tricks and spins which are covered through the differents volumes, so that I would know exactly which one I need.
