    Hi everyone,

I order a Kendra sport pole from a seller on Amazon two weeks ago and was so excited. Since I wasn't at home to pick it up, Fedex redirected the package to a facility, and I picked it up yesterday. My excitement quickly faded when I saw the condition of the box: pieces of cardboard were falling off and the edges of the box were slightly ripped. I opened that box and the Kendra box was slightly better, but only slightly: pieces of cardboard were also falling off the box. I opened it and what did I see? Two poles sticking out of the carry case. They had ripped through the case. I opened the bag and carefully inspected the pole parts: they seem new and all of the parts were there: the instructions manual was even tied around the bag with a pink ribbon. Which leads to my question: how could I tell if my pole has been used? This is the first pole that I've ever bought, & just seeing the condition of the packages and the ripped bag made me wary. Or am I just being paranoid? Is it really no big deal that the bag came ripped? Maybe it was the way Fedex handled the packages? Thanks!

Was it new or used (listed) on Amazon?  Did you take pictures and fill out a report when you picked it up at Fedex?  I am not sure if they package the Kendra pole the same as they do the XPert but mine was NOT in the case when they shipped it.  Mine was all neatly in tubes in a compartmentalized box and the cases were folded up and wrapped in plastic.  I will also add that if the person you ordered from is not a distributor you may have no recourse through X Pole.

Thank you for responding and for mentioning that the parts should be compartmentalized. No wonder the parts of the pole have broken through the bag! I've already requested a refund from Amazon and the pole will be shipped back- UPS will even pick it up. I'm so relieved.
