Does anyone know what move I’m talking about?
Posted by LizziePole on September 20, 2012 at 2:06 pmHi everyone! I remember seeing this move in someone’s competition video but I can’t find it and I can’t remember who did it!
*mental note must remember to add videos to favourties!!*
Anyway she does it from shoulder mount v but I’m guessing it can also be done from v on the floor. It’s like a leg wave/peep show but she kinds splits into v and then comes brings legs together again and then swirls them round. Ok I’m not explaining myself very well but I think if I’ve seen the video ull know what I’m on about! 🙂megan12 replied 13 years, 4 months ago 8 Members · 23 Replies -

I can only think of Alethea Austin and her crazy legs that she does from shoulder mount. I cannot access videos from work or I would try to find it. I know she has recently performed at Midwest so maybe one of those vids?
-
If you were logged in to youtube when you watched it you can get into your history of watched vids and look there?
Only person I could think of is Sarah Scott (Miss Pole Dance UK 2012) who did a shoulder mount V and then rotated her legs together in her winning routine…I've seen it called a round the world shoulder mount too if that helps?

I’m pretty sure it was a studio verbs video but I’ll have a search on you tube x

Had alittle search at those suggestions, nope not them hmmm where could I have seen it??

Ok just spent the last hour going thru veena videos! Haha I’ve found it although I have seen another one when they do it faster 🙂 this video from start to finish is mighty hot tho! 🙂 https://www.studioveena.com/videos/view/4feccbec-4fcc-4d1c-aa64-7e670ac37250

I see you fund it. Nevermind. Check Liz's other videos. She does them faster than that too.
-
I love this move! Is it usually referred to as crazy legs?
-
Oh thats amazing!
And I got completely the wrong end of the stick trying to figure out what you meant lol https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif!! -

I thought you meant the helicopter thingy that Alethea does. But I do think this is called crazy legs. AnneMarie Davies is really good at this too:

Not her helicopter, but a few crazy legs in this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lwg2yJHXwjk

They're in her Floorwork DVD! She calls them straddle outs and "Tiffany legs."
-
Thanks chemgoddess that’s shows her doing it brilliantly just on the floor I was hoping you could do it on the floor coz I cant hold my shoulder mount v long enough yet! Teaparty does she give u a break down in her videos?
-
Yep! She starts out with the pendulums, which are basically like peep shows, and this concept applies to the straddle outs except you get both legs going at once. I haven’t tried it out yet but I think Alethea explains it well enough for me to figure it out once I try it. 🙂

Omg they’re mental haha! Very good tho! Did u see my video of the other leg thing I was on about i figured it out altho still looks alittle weird!
-
Is that where she does that sort of leg flailing in her shoulder mount?
-
I just watched. I am going to have to play with that but for some reason I think my Polish genes may keep me from getting that one.
-
Ahhh…that's so cool. Maybe one day when my shoulder mount doesn't suck so much. haha.
-
Mkalis, have you seen aerialamy's video on shoulder mounts? It was SO helpful for me.
-
CapFeb, yeah, I have been through her video multiple times. I think the yoga plows really help but in terms of starting from the ground up…errrr, I fail. I can only SM from a standing position. I don't really swing up into my SM either. I kind of just lift and grab.
