    I'm really perplexed that no one can see this….my students can almost all see my vids.

    Can anyone tell me what they DO see or what is there when they click on the vid?

    @ empyrean –  I am on a mac and cannot see your video as it comes with a message error. If I get the details, it seems to be associated with a java plug in.

    @masked loopy – Yay! You totally did it! Your pole does not seem straight, though, so I watched your video with great concern for your safety lady. Maybe better put it up again?

    Thanks Branguinha….mac users usually cannot see these but it seems that no one else can see my vid and I'm guessing they are not all mac users?

    i can't, and i'm not on a mac… might you be using an old version of java on your page? or writing the page? i get the following error:

    Using JRE version 1.6.0_24-b07 Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM

    @ Empyrean:  I tried a PC as well and could not play the  video either.  I  got the exact same java plug in problem that my mac had showed (which is the same as amy's).

    I tried to check the Java preferences in my computer, then, to see if I could change the settings somehow, but it did not seem to be a matter of an update on my side and I did not really know what to do in the end… Hope you find a better help!

    It just played fine on my work PC. (Not that I would be watching pole videos at work https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif)

    @Empy – It's not loading for us b/c the video is set to your hard drive (C:\), and not uploaded on the web.

    file_name_1="C:\Documents and Settings\Mary Ellyn\Desktop\Inverted Leg Hook Spin.wmv

    Try uploading it directly to SV or youtube. Or upload the WMV file straight to your website instead of via Frontpage.

    heathalynne, if that was the case then no one would be able to view her video; however several commenters have had success with it.

    empy, if it helps, i'm using windows with chrome. i found the following information, which sounds like the problem you're having:http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/frontpage-help/about-java-applets-HP003071837.aspx

    essentially, when you are using frontpage to upload your video, it is using java to make the call to the video for you. however, it seems like the java applet that frontpage has scripted doesn't work with all browsers, or operating systems…. that's my best guess.

    I was able to see it, but only if I used IE as my browser…I was getting a java error using Firefox.

    @branquinha—I'm careful to keep my pole level.  However, my camera likely was not level and made my pole appear crooked.  I'm being safe, I promise!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif
