Different X-Pole bottoms?
Posted by Riddleboxxy on March 23, 2011 at 8:52 pmOK, this has been keeping me baffled for a while and I've finally decided to ask! There are quite a few videos I've seen where I'm seeing an X-Pole (or at least I believe they are.. they have the top dome), but they do not have the normal X-Pole bottom round piece. They are something smaller, like a PS pole. Can you interchange the bottoms of poles? If so, that would be awesome cause I always hit my toes on my bottom piece o_o Anyone!? 😀

They are the newer X-poles I believe. I have two old style and one new…the new ones has the dome top and a small base 🙂

..Really? :O That'd be great cause I'm selling my current X-Sport to a friend and buying myself an X-Pert. It'd be awesome if it came with a new smaller base.. +.+ *daydream*

Oh, wow! I just looked at the X-Pole site and they DO have different bottoms! Oh, happy day<333

I might be wrong (correct me if I am) but I bought an X-Pole (old style) two years ago and it has the wide base and then six months ago bought an X-Pole Xpert Sprt and it also has the wide base. (9")..I believe it is an optional purchase to get the smaller base. I have the same problem of hitting my toes…I was thinking of getting the smaller base.

The XPert has the new smaller base and the XSport has a wider base just like the original XPole

Empy–
Has it always been than way? My Xpert has the same size as my old X-Pole…it is *maybe* six months old…if that. I just looked at it to double check and it is 9" same as my original. Boo..I want a smaller one.

The XPert has always had the smaller base. But the other model is not an XPert Sport…I think you may simply be mixing up the name?
There are two models: XSport and XPert. The XSport has the larger base and does not spin.
Although now they are calling them XPole XPert and Xpole Sport on the website.

oh and also…if you have the XSport your pole should also have a smaller dome than the original Xpole which means you cannot change the base. The base is larger on the XSport to compensate for the smaller dome to make it stable.

That explains it…I have the XSport (no spin) with the X-Joint…thanks
