PoleGal – you might want to check the formats on the disks…I’ve had relatives who have bought DVDs over here in the States which haven’t worked when they get back to the UK because they aren’t compatible with their players. Would hate to see that happen to anyone else…. especially with pole DVDs – such a downer to have one of those not work 😉

@pole gal – Sorry I just saw this pop back up in my news feed. But here is a link with some more info.
My AA disks don’t specify if they are Region 1(what plays in the US) or Region 2(most of Europe)…I’m guessing if they are originally sold in the US then they will be Region 1.
