    Hi Veeners,
I got this PM on YouTube today and it sounds kind of scam-like, so I was curious to know if anyone else had gotten anything similar?

“My name is Amanda and I work at ScaleLab (www.scalelab.com), a multi-channel network on YouTube. My job is to contact the best pole dancing related channels and invite them to join our growing Pole Dancing YouTube community.
Here’s what ScaleLab does for you and your channel:
    · We have a team of 20+ YouTube experts who work with you to improve every aspect of your channel, and increase your views and subscribers.
    · We give you access to higher paying ad revenue deals from brands & sponsors.
    · We provide production financing on numerous projects. Our executive team has produced hundreds of hours of TV and web programming for Nat Geo, Travel Channel, Fox, Sky Channel and many others.
    · We help you connect and collaborate with other YouTube channels who share your interests. In your case, we have a specific community dedicated just to pole dancing.
And, the best part is that ScaleLab doesn’t have lock-in contracts! So if you’re not blown away by how fast your channel is growing, you can simply leave.
There’s no risk when you join ScaleLab. And did I mention it’s free to join?
If this sounds interesting, please check out our website (www.scalelab.com). It’s easy to sign up there. Or, you can call me personally at +1 (310) 526 7524. I’ll be happy to answer any questions you have!”

Part of why I think it sounds like a scam is because I am definitely far from one of “the best pole dancing related channels”. Not putting myself down, just being honest – I am not someone who is uploading frequently to YT, I don’t have a ton of subscribers, don’t have loads of views on my videos.

So, has anyone else gotten a message like this? Thoughts?

Yep I got that one this morning or yesterday morning too, I forget which day. I always delete them, I get spammy yt emails often and I haven’t seen any that look worth while.

I get that stuff daily – Its not spam so to speak (well that is debatable) There are YouTube networks (lots of them) in very simple terms they will ‘promote’ your vids on different websites etc (embed them) etc so you get more views in exchange for a HUGE percent of your ad revenue least 50%. If it does work well you could make a lot more money BUT 9 times out of ten people are left with less money and stuck in a contract with them that they cant get out off.
