I love:
1. My hair.
2. My shoulders.
3. My calves.
In pole dance…I love:
1. Spins! I always like the way I can rock a basic fireman or back hook. Simple, but they feel so sexy.
2. I love all my hip holds!
3. I always like how I look in a bow and arrow
4. I love pole turns and just dancing around my pole 🙂

Wow! What a powerful video, tears came to my eyes (not even sure why exactly but it was very touching). Great idea Veena, it's so easy to get caught up in what we don't like about ourselves, our appearance, our ability etc… it's nice to focus on the positive for a change.
I love:
1. My butt in cheeky booty shorts, not bad for 40
2. My hair
3. My strong back
Pole related:
1. I love that I'm finally able to do the splits again (which I haven't been able to do since high school), and have been able to perform many other tricks that I NEVER dreamed I'd be able to do when I started.
2. I love that poling has made me stronger than all those years in the gym. I'm as strong as I've ever been, now when I go to the gym I find myself doing only strengthening and flexibility exercises that will help me in my poling lol. I'm up to 10 overhand pullups 🙂
3. I love that I have a whole new group of amazing friends that I wouldn't have met if not for poling!
4. Sorry had to add this one, I love that even though many of my friends and family know I pole, it's still pretty much my own little secret at work (I'm a physician). Honestly at this point if someone asked me what I do to stay in shape I'd tell them but it just doesn't come up. Doctors (some not all) can be pretty boring 🙂

I saw that too on Facebook and totally cried! This is hard for me too because I have hard time accepting compliments and can be super critical myself…but here we go!
Things about me:
1.) Love my eyes! They have a ring of yellow fire in the middle 😉
2.) I have long legs for my short height and so I love them for that
3.) I love my hips. Even though they might seem nonexistent to some, I like the way they look on me
Pole:
1.) I am pretty wicked strong
2.) I love the way I can dance sexy when I’m in the mood to do so
3.) I think I have pretty good musicality -
The fact that I can answer this thread with honesty and feel like I have more than 3 things to say is a testament to what pole has done for me. Before pole, I was very down on my physical self. Pole has shown me how awesome I am and what my potential has always been. So…
1. I love my curves. I’m 36-25-38 and lovin’ it!
2. My muscle definition is freaking awesome. I mean, my shoulders, arms, back, abs, legs, you name it, I have muscle definition there. (Thanks, pole!)
3. I love my luxurious curly hair. It is sensual, flippable, and makes me feel like a goddess.Pole related:
1. I love my freestyling ability. Pole is so much about self-expression for me, so I love that I can freestyle to any song that moves me and feel confident about it.
2. It simply amazes me that I’m to the point that I can aysha in every grip conceived. Forearm, elbow, split, twisted, & true. You name it, I got it. When I started that was so unfathomable.
3. Three years and a lot of painstaking progress later, I finally have a functional front split!!! 😀 -
1. I love my eyes
2. I love my butt
3. I love my birth mark that goes from my ankle to tge top of my butt on my right leg1. I love my strength.

Veena, this thread was a wonderful idea. I read every one of the responses. I've only been poling for three months. My wife and I have been married for 44 years so here are my few insights:
Physical:
1. I love that I lost 5 pounds when I started poling without trying.
2. I love my abs and upper body for my age.
3. I love that my wife likes my body.
4. I love that I still have a nice head of hair.
Pole Related:
1. I love that I was able to do a surprise pole dance for my wife's birthday in a six week time period with the help of three phenomenal instructor's.
2. I love my shoulder mounts.
3. I love that I pole with the most incredibly supportive and assertive women.
4. I love that my flexibility is increasing slowly.
5. I love the feeling of confidence I have around the pole.
Emotional:
I love that my wife occasionally asks me for repeats of certain parts of the dance I did for her, and, most of all……
I love hearing her say to me, "How's my pole dancer this morning?"

My body
1. Love my green eyes.
2. Love my curves, my boobs
3. Loving my shoulders and biceps.
Pole related
After 30 plus years of trying so many different exercise classes and dvds I found pole and fell in love!
I'm 49, and I'm stronger and more flexible and ever.
Loved that first invert, the first Superman and just got a Shouildermount, didn't think when I started three years ago that I would get these moves, I love the confidence my kitchen poling gives me!!!

2) I love my long hair
3) I love my shoulders
Pole:
1) I love my remi drop
2) I love the creativity pole brings out in me
3) I love that moment when you can connect and get lost in the music- its a very special and fleeting moment.

You gaaiizz. Y u gotta make me cry and such! But they're happy, grateful tears. I guess.
My body:
1.) Dat white gurl booty. I like that I don't have to have the brazillian butt lift video. I pretty much look like I have implants, it's just so far up there. It's nice!
2.) I like the lines my shoulders make. It's so Hollywood noire.
3.) I have really nice legs. Thank you tennis, and also pole.
4.) I have fangs. I guess it's the trend in Asia anyway, so thank you Asia for making me look cool.Pole:
1.) I like that I'm a very emotional dancer. I think other people appreciate it, too.
2.) I AM SOOOO much more flexible than I thought I was.
3.) Abs and arms. My arm strength isn't quite there yet, but I like that I have biceps! They're so pretty 😀 -
Korinne, you made me laugh! While you may not mention your ass, I certainly will.
Korinne has a perfectly bootylicious bubble butt. And her flexibility pisses me off (but in a good way). Oh, yeah, I also have been known to show off her perfect boobs, and she is all too happy to oblige. (another one of those awesome people that pole has brought into my life)

Thank you Veena for posting about this!! This idea is what pole has been about for me, and why I started. As I have come to realize, having someone tell you your sexy is not the same as feeling sexy.
1. My hair! I love how sexy playing with my hair makes me feel.
2. My bootay! I love the fact that my bum looks awesome in pole shorts. And thank you pole dancing for inspiring me to finally wear shorts that short.
3. My figure. Poling has made me realize how much I appreciate my figure and how sexy I can really feel in my own body.
1. I'm proud I have stuck with my pole lessons. It may be hard because of how busy things are, but I love that its the one form of working out that I cant wait to do.
2. I'm proud of how many new friends I have made in pole classes. I love people and its beautiful to connect with so many awesome people!
3. I'm proud of how sexy poling has made me feel! I think its hard for sexiness to come naturally for some women because of how objectified women are in mainstream media. Poling has helped me feel more beautiful and sexy than ever before in my life and for once I actually believe it when my Fiance calls me sexy 🙂
