April SV Ontario Pole Jam
So, Due to our successful 1st Ontario pole jam at Aradia Fitness, https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif everyone has been asking to have our next pole jam again at Aradia Brampton’s large and spacious studio with ten 12 foot , 2 inch brass poles. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_bounce.gif Sunday, April 11 at 3-6pm works well for Jocie, https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_salut.gif owner of that studio. Same protocal, $20 for 3 glorious pole jamming https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_bounce.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_bounce.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_bounce.gif and bring munche/fingerfood to replenish our energies. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_chef.gif Saturdays don’t work well for that studio as she has workshops and bachlorette parties. Aradia Fitness Brampton studio is located at the historical building of The Old Shoe Factory, 57 Mill Street N. Suite 210 Brampton, ONT. There are plenty of free parking.

Do you think you’ll be having these on a regular basis. I come to visit my folks in Burlington every few months and would love to attend one. I won’t be able to make the one in april though, which sucks.

We can’t let the American and Europeans have all the poling fun. They have all the jams, USDF workshops, shows , competitions. We need to put Canada on the pole map. So the more Canadians the better. Canada actually is on the "pole map" already–it’s just everything is going on out west. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif Check YouTube for vids from the 2008 and 2009 International Pole Camps. I went last year and it was fantastic!

I heard Tammy Morris from Tantra fitness is finalizing the venue for next year’s Miss Pole Dance Canada, there was one in 2007, Reiko came to Vancouver as a guest performer, but yeah….this one will be in Van city as well, booooo!!!! We need to get something going at this end too.

Hi NEWBIE. welcome to Studio Veena. Of course you are welcome to come to our Ontario pole jam. A POLE JAM is a fun get together of people who share the same passion of pole dancing and fitness as you. We get together from all over Ontario at a studio or someones house to pole. We have polers from beginner to master levels have fun showing and teaching each other pole moves. It is a great opportunity to meet each other and make lifelong friends who love to pole just like you. The $20 dollars is studio rental fee for the 3 hours of pure blistful poling. Pole practice for 1 hour at this big and beautiful studio is $15.00 an hour each person normally . But I manage to talk the owner into renting the studio for our pole jam event each month for @20.00 each for 3 hours, which is very reasonable. Everyone shares the poles. HONESTLY, YOU WILL HAVE THE TIME OF YOUR LIFE MEETING GREAT NEW POLING BUDDIES, LEARNING FANTASTIC MOVES OR SHOWCASING YOUR CURRENT ABILITIES. It is that easy. You just let us know in this forums topic right here that you are coming and show up. We also ask that each person bring a fingerfood/ munchie for our potluck table which is great for our bodies to refuel between poling.. My pole jam-pool party this summer will be free at my backyard. More info to follow about it after the April Ontario pole jam so everyone can save the date. Hope to see you there. -
By the way, if any of you southern Ontarians are interested, I found out on Friday that there’s going to be another couple’s workshop at Eryx Studio here in Brantford on March 25. I didn’t know where to post this and since all of you are more or less locals, I thought I’d post it here! I would love to come: My only thing is I have no idea how to get to Brampton from downtown Toronto! (I don’t drive). I’ll see if any one of my friends with a car wants to go too, otherwise not sure how i can make it.

Hey, Stephanie! All you have to do is take the TTC to a GO station (I’m thinking Union Station since you’re downtown) and check the schedules to see what goes to Brampton and when. There is a GO station right across the street from the studio, so all you’d have to do is hop off the bus or train and scamper over to the building!!
