A Moment of Silence for CARAMEL_DLITE
Hi everybody.
Caramel’s friend has told me that her funeral is on Tuesday morning, New Zealand time. As of yet I dont know what specific time her funeral is on at but I have emailed her friend to find out. Sadly none of us are in the position to go to the funeral but we would still like to have some sort of get together to mark the ceremony. RaRa made the suggestion that we could all get together in chat and do a minute silence for our beautiful Caramel. Veena said she would like us all to get togehter in chat too. What do you guys think? I know there is the time difference issue but when I find out what time the funeral is on at I’ll post it here on this thread and then we can all try our best to figure out the time difference. (I think the time difference for me in Ireland is 12 hours.) Then even if you cant make it to the chat room perhaps you could have a moments silence wherever you are. Or if you’re in bed at the time you could have your moments silence at a different time. Tomorrow I hope to light a candle for Caramel in my church so maybe if you cant come to chat room at the designated time you would like to light a candle instead.
We all loved Caramel here so it would be lovely for us all to be able to get together just for her if at all possible.xxxxx

The time difference for the east coast is 17 hours ahead of us. The current time in New Zealand is
10:42 AM Monday, October 05 , Here 5:42pm Sunday Oct 04. -
Okay everybody Caramel’s funeral is at 10am New Zealand time. That would be 10pm Monday for me which would make it the same for anyone in the UK. It would be 12 midnight for azriel and our other Greek members. It would be 5pm Monday for anyone on the east coast of the US, 2pm for the west coast and 4pm central US time. Now I may not be accurate with these so just double check it to make sure ok. Sorry I havent included more time zones but if you just put "Current time in Aukland New Zealand" into google search bar (or any search engine) the time will show up and you can calculate the difference.
I’ll make sure to be in chat before that time so hopefully I will see some of you guys there.Much love

Thanks everyone for the info and time conversions. I have chem lab that afternoon and sometimes they are very lengthy, so I’m gonna try to finish it up as early as I can so I can make it in on time. Hugs

It will ask you for time of event in NZ and day . The funeral is at 10am on Tuesday. that should tell you what time to be here in chat. We are just trying to do that moment of silence the same time as the funeral. -

Guys please dont worry if you cant make it, just have a moments silence wherever you are and then when you get home maybe come on in to chat and Im sure some of us will still be here. I dont want anyone to feel pressure to make it to chat. As long as you could maybe have your moment of silence at the same time as us or even if not the same time by all means have it at a more convienient time for yourself. Its the gesture that will count.

I don’t think I’ll be attending the chat because of my work schedule interfers with the timing. I’d like to send my condolences to her family, close friends, and everyone elses life she touched. thanks fdor posting a link to the original post. i cant believe how much someone i never saw in person could affect me (and i’m sure lots of others) so much… evertime i come across these posts my eyes well up. if i am this upset, i cant imagine what her friends and family are going through… i just don’t understand..i just wish this had been a cruel joke.

i have been thinking about this alot and was wandering if anyone would be intrested in doing a video for caramel dlite? i was first thinking we could all dance to " I will remember you", but think soince we all had individual feelings to express maybe we could judst choose a song that you feel honors her life, or expresses your feelings. just an idea. io am planning on doing one tonight and if next week goes according to plan will (FINALLY) be posting all these vids i have stock piled along with this. just an idea…
