A BIG THANK YOU!!
Just wanted to shout out a huge THANK YOU to everyone that has welcomed me!! I really appreciate it…..this is the only place I can go and find support. Where I live everyone (except the younger generation) gives me so much crap about poling…I’m so sick and tired of hearing "YOUR TOO OLD!"…I’m only 53, and it would do a lot of people my age to get off the sofa and exercise!! ok LOL I’m done!! Thats so dumb! You probably have more energy and are in better shape than people my age. And honestly I really feel that poling is definitely a sport that you excel at more and more the older you are because it takes such a long time to build up strength and polish moves! I know that’s right glitterhips!!! Joel is 58 and he can do things on the pole that my lightweight 27 year old self can’t do!!! Age doesn’t mean jack rabbit when it comes to doing something that you love. I’m going to pole until I die at 104 years old. dancing will make you feel younger!
you´re only as old as you feel!i know so many 20ish year olds that are soooo old! and i know a bunch of 50/60/70 yr olds which do regular sport and go out dancing till 5am every week! they are such fun, fit, happy people!

let me put it this way… i know a alot of poeple who are in their 20’s who barely do more than work and watch tv. my grandmother is in her 80’s and still travels the world independently. she golfs, swims, plays tennis ect.

Soooo I’m new here and after reading your post and hearing that you were 53 I had to check out your photos. Let me just say I have a huge respect for nurses. My mother and sister are both nurses and they are wonderful at the job they do. Nurses are to me, more important than the doctors!! And anytime one has to be in the hospital it is always the great nice nurses that make them feel better. Nursing school is incredible hard too so u get kudos from me!! I love nurses!!!!

Let me just say I have a huge respect for nurses. My mother and sister are both nurses and they are wonderful at the job they do. Nurses are to me, more important than the doctors!!
