ronibmoses2731, I do mine on my forearms like in the pictures above… except I put my palms on the floor (like the picture on the app) so not in a fist….because I feel more comfortable on my palms, and the weight feels more evenly distributed on my forearms.

Yep, on forearms is the correct plank position. Harder than on your hands too so it’s a better workout.
Amiloo how long did you do?

Who would have thought 20 seconds extra would be so hard!!! -
joining in! 1min 15sec day one!
was getting laughed at by my 2yr old while planking…. -
Aw Flighter thank you so much! You are the sweetest. And I’m glad I’ve found someone else with the dip! Mine is way more pronounced than in the drawing too, as you can tell if you look at my photo.
I’m about to do day 3…74 seconds, which is nothing on some of you ladies, but I’m scared. Haha. Glad so many of you are getting in on this! -
Robin, if you are new to planks start with arms straight, when this becomes easier then place the elbows on the floor. They are both correct 😉
-
because you guys scared me with the seconds after 30 days I kinda didn’t want to hold my test longer then 45 secs. day 30 will be 345 secs on medium.
-
Ha. Yeah my 71 seconds today wasn’t fun. And my 91 tomorrow will be even less fun. 🙂

Did my day 4 as soon as I got up…made a lot of horrible effort noises during but managed my 74 seconds, and tomorrow is a rest day! Woohoo!
-
Day 2, 75secs, done. That was an extra 20 secs. How am I gonna manage yet another 20secs tomorrow????
-
Kate92 I think the noises are an essential part of completing the challenge!
-
I did 86 seconds this morning an completed it thank goodness! I tried singing to take my mind off of it and it worked until I got closer to the end. My arms seem to be stressing out quicker than my abs unfortunately!
-
Is anyone having lower back troubles doing this? Perhaps I’m not strong enough in my arms or abs so my lower back tries to compensate somehow, just did day 6 and had to lower and re-lift/reposition myself a few times to try and make my back more comfortable. Ugh, I feel like an old woman!
-
Forgot to put this in yesterday, oops.
Start time was 63 seconds, day 30… 363 seconds, hmmm lol. -
-
Oh my goodness, what have I walked into? I am terrible at planking and have too much crap going on to properly join the challenge (also it seems hellish)– just wanted to add in @Kate92 I love those dip drawings!
-
Good luck to all of you! This challenge seems pretty freakin hard. Ya’ll are some strong ladies to be doing it at all!
-
omg, day 2 and only 87sec…i’m hurting so bad?!?! daughter is still finding it so funny that mommy is a bridge to crawl under, but stupidly decided to start the leg lift challenge at the same tine :os gah
-
Day 2… 83 seconds, and omg I didn’t think I was going to be able to hold the last 14 seconds, oouuucchhhh hahaha
-
I have to do 94 seconds today. I am actually going to die. Didn’t have the energy to do it this morning so the little reminder is just sitting there like a gremlin waiting for when I get home from work. :'(
-
Kate, you just have to make sure to stay engaged in the core. Sometimes I worry so much about being straight or not having my butt up in the air that I let my butt/belly drop or sag. This is really hard on the lower back! So make sure to stay solid through the core!
I had a rest day yesterday. And I have my 91 seconds to do later. Feeling intimidated for sure.
