Prncsopowr -That fact that a nutritionist suggested it makes it a winner to me. I wish stores had experts there telling you which item would be better! I’ll have to try fruit with it too.
    pole-twista- 51! Sheesh. Congrats.

Update for me: I realized my goals were too complex and hardcore for the most part…so I ended up changing them quite a bit. I need to do smaller steps and really define them…For example: Instead of I will drink more water and hope to get 8 glasses , I changed it to 2 glasses a day and once that’s consistent I will up it by one glass. I am disappointed a little bit though that I couldn’t keep up with my elaborate plan but I need to remember its a journey and it can be done with smaller steps.

Great to hear of the many success stories here and the positive take on the less successful ones as well. I, myself, haven’t really been able to stick to the challenge. I had to go to the US and Europe for work in September and October and traveling for long periods of time made it impossible for me to keep an exercise routine and diet. I haven’t put any weight on and I am ok with my body, but I was looking forward to getting back to pole and accomplishing more. I am now back home but ill with the flu, so I will see if I can at least try to get some results in November. As velvetvixen said, maybe smaller steps can still be accomplished. Good luck to all of you!

yes i agree that smaller steps will actually get you more permanent changes.. taking on too much at once, and not having clearly defined goals is the easiest way to get frustrated and not see results for me i notice i need to be active EVERYDAY to stay consistent doesn’t mean i need to workout 7 days a week, but even just going for a walk, hooping to a few songs, or doing some push-ups etc while i watch tv keeps me in that fitness mind set..

i haven’t weighed self in weeks, but pants fitting good, someone said looks like my stomach is starting to show tone on the sides, and can do 51 push-ups in less than 2 hrs..( used to be couldnt do 51 in 2 weeks! ) .. i think it is better to make small changes til those become 2nd nature and than build on that.

Thanks for these suggestions. I’ve always wondered what is the best way to lose weight quickly, but then I realized that there is no one perfect method for everyone. You have to find out what works for you and follow it religiously. I’m learning to eat healthier now, and I practice portion control, and it’s been working wonders for me.

Yes diffrent things work for diffrent people. I find when i am keeping an accurate journal of what I am eating and doing for exersise I do much better. Also I can not wait til I am really hungry to eat or I end up eating junk and usually alot of it. Also I have found that if i really do not want to workout at all if I just commit to 10 mins of ANY activity I almost always end up doing more. The first 30 or so days of this I did so good ( lost 10lb. s and 2 inches off waist) but than started to yo yo w my commitment and effort. Seems everytime I get wicked close to my goal I start screwing up.. well am back on track as of now though. Went to get healthy food this morning and did 45 mins cardio and a 30min walk so far today. I believe today is already day 80!!!! wow 20 more days! Although I plan on starting over w a challenge, except thinking will do 30 day challenges instead w smaller more managable goals. Like say the 1st 30 day challenge round I will probably focus on increasing stamina through walk/run intrevals and boxing, and focus on getting my belly flat again w pilates. As far as food will probably just focus on maintaining an accurate food journal and planning my breakfeast and dinners. I usually do good w lunch. well let’s do our best in this home stretch and than anyone who is intrested can start the 30 day challenge when this ends. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_sunny.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

What is the best way to lose weight quickly in 100 days? I would be religiously doing the water therapy. Water therapy helps you to perspire, and perspiration is one of the top ways to lose weight. Also, through this kind of treatment, you’ll be able to cleanse your body; I mean, you’ll basically have no toxic chemicals in your body for a whole 100 days. You can get accustomed to that therapy for the rest of your life.

End of challenge today and I have achieved the splits (although I need a good warm-up to sit comfortably), did 20 push ups, achieved the teddy bear, superman, and on and off again with the shoulder mount (although I must admit I was a little lazy with the exercises for the shoulder mount https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_redface.gif )

can’t wait to hear how the rest of you guys went. Pole-twista congrats on your achievements. Can’t wait to start a new challenge https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif
