Technical home pole question ⚡️ the ceiling in my new apartment is new & not thick enough to support my x-pole. Has anyone experienced this before & come up with any solutions.. it’s so frustrating not being able to have the pole up. But I tried before & it fell down which was very scary. Any suggestions would be so appreciated. I understand I could get a stand alone pole but it will be a lot of money & I already spent a lot on my succession pole

I’m assuming you are referring to when you put your pole up the ceiling material, most likely sheet rock does not have enough structure to properly secure your X-Pole. What I mean by this is that when you attempt to install your X-Pole the compression from the pole just bends it.

My recommendation would be to find a handyman. Most ceilings unless they are a suspended ceiling have enought structure to support an X-Pole but you may need some added help. A common solution is to span two joists with a piece of 3/4 inch plywood.

If you want to send a couple pictures I can try and offer more advice, but I think a handyman would be your best bet.
