Which pole dance podium should I choose? Looking for advice on brands and finish
Hi everyone!
I’m looking to buy a pole dance podium for home use (no ceiling available), and I’m hesitating between several brands (Lupit, X-Pole, ThePole, etc.) and finishes (chrome, stainless steel, brass, powder coated…).
My main concern is grip — I’m looking for something that offers good grip but not too sticky. My skin is somewhere in between (not super dry, but not very sweaty either), and I want to be able to do both spin and aerial tricks comfortably.
If anyone has any recommendations or experience with:
- the best brand for home/podium use
- the type of finish that gives a good balance between grip and slide
- the stability of the podium (easy to assemble/disassemble? solid?)
I’d really appreciate your advice to help me make the right choice!

Can I first ask why you want a stage pole instead of a removable floor to ceiling pole?
