hi everybody!
Hi everybody, I decided to finally stop lurking and introduce myself. My name is Mayzie, and I’ve been interested pole dancing for about a year. It actually started when a friend showed me one of Veena’s vids on youtube (Gimme More!), I was just blown away and I knew I had to give pole dancing a shot. I’ve always loved all kinds of dance but never taken classes, and I’m very excited to build my strength and stamina as well as learn some awesome new moves. I took a beginner’s class at a great studio here in Portland a few months ago, and I just got my X-Pole last month. I’m progressing slowly, and really looking forward to getting tips and inspiration from you all. I’ve lurked around the forum a bit and everyone seems so nice and helpful, I’m so glad I stumbled on such a great community of dancers! congratulations! I guess I should stop lurking too…glad I’ve found an instructional site that is very classy. Googling for pole dancing lessons was…interesting. Glad you’re here
