  Help with where to install pole relative to ceiling beams

  Hi, I’ve got a false wooden board ceiling with support beams above it. I’ve got a picture of what’s above the ceiling. Where can I put the pole?! Along the pink line ? Or at the intersection?

  Always put the pole on the joist…the blue line 😊
