  • Xpole Xpert 45mm, does the dome have to fit snug to the to top adaptor?

Hi ladies, thinking you might be able to give me the answer to this since xpole not open til Monday! I am trying to put up this pole – in the instructional video it show the connector that slots into the dome fitting quite close – however on mine it only goes in about half way and then stops – you can see a smaller ring that is stopping it when you have a look into the hole in the dome. Does this matter? I am guessing probably yes?! Thanks πŸ™‚

Could you possibly provide a picture of your pole? For my pole, the adaptor slides all the way in, I believe. I can also provide a picture if you want a reference.

I had the same thing happen! Turns out I didn’t have the smallest x-joint(180mm) and had to order it, because I bought my 45mm Xpert from someone. My ceiling is about 8ft 2in, so all I needed was the one x joint for it to fit snug against the ceiling. Once I received the part, the dome slid all the down and I put it up! Look to see if you might have mixed up the x joints. If you only need one x joint, make sure it is the smallest one, with the arrow on the shaft. Hope this helps πŸ™‚

Thanks ladies….have tried to add pic – it’s just the top adaptor that joins pole to dome that seems to be the prob (I think….no experience of putting poles up!)
